Mixing Marijuana Strains?

So I have like... an 8th of Sour Diesel and an 8th of some new stuff called Coma Kush.

Sour Diesel is mostly Sativa and gives a focused, energetic high.

Coma Kush is mostly Indica... and basically knocks you the hell out.

Is it ok to mix these to try to find a "happy medium" ?

Yes. You will get the effects of both of them.

tried that befor...Great success! mixing strains can add to your high in a slightly different way, i used sour diesel and some G-13 and it worked out very well

Some people think it enhances your high...I dono really. Yes, you will get the effects of both, but say you had a 100% sativa, and a 100% indica. If you mixed them both you'd simply make a 50-50 mix. In all honesty(and I find this quite shocking, actually) I've also mixed some sour diesel and G-13. As I said, I didn't notice any notable difference, just different than either two by themselves.
It all depends what you like. Experiment. I recently had the opportunity to have 3 different strains in the last ounce I got. I mixed them up around a few times to make some fun bowls but most the time I just kept them seperate. It's easier to distinguish tastes and it's easier to know what type of high you're going to get.
