Default Do you think MJ can help people with stressful jobs?

Do you think MJ could help people with stressful jobs who do not really need MJ for medical reasons?

I find it quite helpful knowing that you can always relax later no matter what. Being under constant stress is common with higher paying jobs, and its not healthy at all.

If you relax, you can go freshly rested!

Actually, I would consider 'stress', in certain circumstances, to be a valid medical condition.

Alls one has to do is read the hundreds or more studies confirming the deleterious effects of stress to living organisms.

That said, I'm not proposing that it be some sort of back door means of obtaining medical marihuana.

But, aside from that, I do agree that it can sometimes be of help.

If it works for you then that's a good thing. However, it doesn't work that way for everyone.

In fact, sometimes it has just the opposite effect in that it can exacerbate one's anxiety over the issues they may be dealing with, be it work related or otherwise.

When it is effective there are few other avenues as satisfying.
Except perhaps for more organic approaches like meditation, yoga, good sex, true love, exercise, giving of oneself to another who needs a hand, so on and so forth...

In my opinion, you shouldnt use weed to help you escape stress. Smoking is a recreational thing, it's something you do because it's fun, similer to going to an amusement park or an arcade. You need to be sure you can handle all the stressful things in your life sober, before you do it high, not saying that you can't. After work though, blazing some weed isnt gonna hurt anybody.

Lower amounts of stress I believe are alright for the body.
Exercise is stress.
It's about finding balance.

Thats what I meant - use is after work, after you faced stress but I am the kind the person who never stops worrying.

Its not that I can't face stress without weed, but it is easier to relax AFTER work to relieve stress by vaping/smoking weed.

Yeah, I am just like that to. I use to have a really physical and stressful job. During my breaks, I would go out to my car and 'escape' for a minute. Just as people do with music, cigarette breaks and other types of activities. It was a moment alone of relaxation and calmness. After the bowl or joint, I would be refreshed and relaxed. As they say, I was locked, cocked and ready to rock.

I enjoy smoking marijuana when I am in a good mood about to have a fun time. I do agree though that marijuana can help with stress, but the type of situation you are in is what I think matters. If you are "stressed" out because of a small thing, than marijuana is a nice aid in relaxation. If your problem is serious (job related or greater) then marijuana or even alcohol for that matter is a suitable answer.

Marijuana can help with absolutely everything if you have the right mindset and are responsible enough.

Why not? people take handful of pills to cope with stress or drink alcohol. Just in moderation or as the medical types say" as needed"
