You know the sickness in your stomach you get if you are really hungry? Like when you haven't eaten in the morning and all of a sudden you get this hunger attack that almost makes you vomit?

These happen rarely with me, but if I vaporize enough weed then the next day I definately get that. It lasts about 30 seconds and goes away without me throwing up. Its just this sudden unpleasant sickening hunger I get.

Yes I overeat when I am high, but it works out perfectly because I lift weights and want to get heavier.

I've never experienced this particular phenomenon, but I do battle nausea on a regular basis. I can skip meals and not feel nausea, but I experience stomach pain due to ulcers, so I usually try to keep something on my stomach. I have found that eating too much really screws up my stomach, though.

Maybe when I overeat high it boosts my metabolic rate and etc.

BTW, doesn't MJ fight fat cells though?

I just thought of this. Maybe he is confused because he heard THC binds to fat cells?

I have an answer for you, Monarch......My doctor told me that the stomach is expanded to a certain size, and normally stays right around that size. When we are high and overeat, we put pressure on the stomach muscles and the body reacts to the pressure because we are inflating the stomach. The natural reaction from your body to this is to dump, or voimit, the excess out of your body so it can properly digest the food........

Hope that helps, because it happens to me all the time. I can only eat so much before I reach the purge level, even though I do like to eat and being high makes it taste so good..........

Yeah, it makes sense, but why does it happen the next morning? It never happens same day or night, but the next morning. Also, it happens AFTER I took a huge crap, about an hour before I take another huge crap...
Its also linked with hunger. Its not usual vomit sick type, but rather empty stomach vacuum hunger type...that almost makes me vomit, but I never do.

I think if it's a serious problem that persists, I would look to other reasons why it happens. Herb definately settles the stomach for me, and also helps with the nausea from taking the meds I take........

If the problem persists, like I've already said, it will be best to consult a doctor because I do have my doubts that the herb is the cause.......

Dedr hit the first part of this answer: stomach stretching. The stomach is elastic and actually has a memory of sorts. If you have a habit of binging, this stretches the stomach. The stomach will return to your normal size in time, but I imagine what you're feeling is the immediate after effects of stomach stretching.

I'm also pretty sure that Marijuana use increases heart rate. So in the morning your body has a stretched stomach, that's now quite empty in relation to the night before, and the time spent with an increased heart rate may be causing the stomach to send the strong hunger pangs. Just a theory. I've felt it before, but usually only after big binge nights where I fall asleep full and blazed.
