As for your problem, I don't know how old you are, but it sounds like you are in highschool. I would be hesitant to compare yourselve to someone else. Some people are just able to do that. I knew plenty of people in highschool who smoked and got great grades but knew just as many who didn't. What I am really getting at is that everyone has their own strengthes and weakness'. He may have found his, and perhaps academics is where he excels, but I am sure there are other areas where you excel over him. Life is filled with so many opportunities, try to remember to just slow down and enjoy what you have. No you may not be able to pull off the same thing as your friend but then again perhaps he also has different experiences and motivations than you. I know it can be frustrating at times to see the things that people can do that you can not, but EVERYONE is different. Just remember to enjoy life, you don't have to be as "smart" as your friend, or as "strong" or as "witty". Just relax and enjoy the blessings you have. There will always be things that work for others that don't work for you, this is life, but again, I can be 100% sure there are things you can do and (or) accomplish that your friend and others can not.

As far as I know there is no method, or atleast I don't know one. My best advice, just enjoy life and just remember all the things that you can do, don't focus on what you can't.

after highschool, i wanna go to college in San Diego and major in business
i know im gonna make money because i came up with an idea that is a money maker for sure
the thing is just to get my degree and get hired and then start my own business

If, I could smoke weed at my house as much as I want when I want. I beleive I would be much better in school. My buddy and I always say, after smoking a couple joints, if we could go to school like this and not get in trouble we would get straight A's. If I came home smoked a couple joints relax a little bit then do my homework and study it would be a million times easier. All I do when I get home I'm just bored so try and fill it with movies/music/games and try and entertain myself until I go to sleep then hate getting up and going to school.

I don't think marijuana would enhance my performance in school, but that last sentence is very true for me as well.

I don't understand your issue. Ganja is not make you smarter or dumber than you are right now. I don't know how the two are related. If you aren't smart, I'd hate to say it but it has nothing to do with weed. unless you toke up in between classes I don't understand the problem. I get home, workout, do my homework, and toke up almost every night. no problems here. But if i smoked at school you bet I'd start sucking.

I had been getting 50s-60s this semester, and about 3 weeks ago I just started smoking up again, and also got my report card around that time. Now I am getting 70s-80s. I think it just because I got more motivated to do better after seeing how shitty my marks where. But I do find that I concintrate on work just as good if not better while high. It narrows my thoughts down to what I am focusing on. So when I am not doing work it takes a bit to get doing it but when I actualy get doing it, I am usualy really focused. I kno for a fact that weed hasn't lowered my grades because I just started smoking up in the last 3 weeks after not for several months. My grades are good now, thats what I know. Oh and I was listening to motivation hypnosis stuff so that could have helped aswell. lol

I wasn't saying marijuana somehow enhances my performance. As of now I only smoke on weekends, and I really look forward to the weekends. If I could smoke, relax, wait til I'm slightly buzzed to do homework it would so much easier for me at least. When I'm high I would feel dissappointed if I just sat there, high, and didn't do school work and I can focus in on things very easily which in turn would make homework much easier, for me at least.

Grades do not equal smarts, they equal motivation.
For me personally I do better when I smoke.

The reason is because when I don't smoke I get irritable and tired, so I don't do anything all day but be a crab.

When I do smoke, I make sure to do all of my homework before hand that way I can have the rest of the day off.

So yes smoking helps me, but I don't do my homework / work WHILE I'm high, thats MY time! :]

You seriously cannot tell the difference between a person who smokes and who doesn't unless you catch them heavily intoxicated. I know people who do many drugs including MJ, and have problems with school and drop out. Then I know other people who do drugs including MJ, and are doing great in their classes.
I have done other drugs that will make it impossible to think, and MJ isn't one of those. I usually do my chemistry homework right after I am done smoking, it doesn't affect my thinking like those DARE officers say it does.
I'm much smarter than most of my classmates, it's just that sometimes I am lazy, or forget to do my work. But most of the people in my class are like that too, and some of them won't even take a tylenol for a headache.
Right now my grades are excellent. (Except in history, I'm more of a math/science person). If you smoke, and find it hard to concentrate, then let yourself sober up a little before doing any work. This usually helps
