Any ideas? I've looked around, but haven't found much..besides the large-scale, franchise-style "1-800-number" type of referral docs. I'm looking for a doc who actually gives half a crap, instead of the ones only trying to cash-in on the opportunity.

I'm looking for docs whom you can tell me a little about, so I can make a more informed decision on which one to schedule with.

Why? Are you trying to prove something to yourself? Or... ?

I've only been to one doctor... found them of CANormal's site... he was very caring, I guess... but it really didn't matter because I only saw him once.

I guess what I'm trying to say is... picking your medical cannabis doctor is not like picking your regular doctor. You don't need to see them all time time, etc. So if you are in need of medical cannabis, then why prolong your treatment worrying about a 20 minute face to face with a doctor?

Again, sorry if I come of cynical or negative, but I just wanted to make sure you realize how fast it is (if you already have prior evidence of condition).

Now if you don't have prior evidence of a condition, I guess I can see why you'd be so interested in finding a "good" Doctor.

Just be ready to pay the fee because the doctor doesn't really care about your symptoms, just the fee.

I've got a bona fide, well documented (Xrays/MRIs/CT Myelogram/etc), drawn-out, 7-year-long injury+pain condition, so I'm not concerned about lacking the prerequisites for a medical recommendation..

..And I'm familiar with the way it works- (that you only typically see the MJ-Doc for a short time, and infrequently)--but I've gotten to the point where I'm tired of supporting doctors who don't care.

I want a doc who actually believes in what he or she is doing, instead of herding the patients through like cattle, watching their bank accounts grow, and giving the whole thing a bad name.

THAT'S what I'm saying.

For reasons that are too lengthy to get into, I've lately become inconvenienced in a big way by a shitty doc who doesn't care, and who never will. As a result, I'm pretty pissed (in addition to being inconvenienced in the aforementioned BIG way), so I now choose to seek out a doctor who actually believes in what he's doing. Period. The End. Can you hear me now?....Gooooood!

Do you want a doctor who is going to recommend MJ or do you want a doctor who is going to care about your particular illness?

I mean, do what you feel you need to do, but it really seems like you are making this more difficult than it needs to be. Assuming that the greediness you speak of is even wide spread and you have more of a chance getting a doctor that doesn't care than one that does... you'll still never truly know. Even if I told you my doctor wasn't in it for the money... I never truly know either.

But if you are willing to prolong your medication until you reach whatever it is you're looking to prove, that's cool too.
