Question Helping out a dispensary?

So I've become a frequent visitor of my local dispensary. It's fairly new and still starting up.

Anyways, long story short, I walk in today and they have a new laptop that they are trying to set up to get.

I just so happened to walk in wearing my "i'm a nerd" shirt.

Not to dip into too much of my personal life, but I have a heavy background in computers, network, security & encryption, etc.

I offered to setup their laptop for them so it is highly, highly encrypted and secure.

My question is... does this put me in any legal problems for helping them out? Can I exchange my help for marijuana?

Not if you don't leave footprints.

That's up to them.
If not then you can always do it for the cause...

Haha.. you know what, I just came to that very same conclusion. I basically am going to let them know that I'm not looking for cash... and since they are a business, I don't want to take free-product (which would cost them money). But I'll put it out there that I would be very happy with some sort of discount when I buy meds.

It'll probably be about 3 hours worth of work (including walking them through everything and making sure they are comfortable with the new system).

In the end, their laptop will be totally secure from viruses, malware, etc. It will also have 3-layers of data encryption, including steganography. And even their wireless network will be beefed up.

I should put up a tutorial or something lol.

I would be surprised if they didn't offer you some herb without you even asking.

Thats cool man, talk about being a compassionate customer!

I wouldn't think, since your a frequent customer already, a discount would be out of line.

Haha wow... just an update for everyone...

My reward for helping them out (as well as being available to help them out in future tech related problems):

2 ounces of White Widow. (as well as future discounts and such)

I feel like Link from Legends of Zelda getting a reward for returning a chicken or two.
