i am a really big fan of the steven spielberg/george lucas indiana jones movies, wanted to know aif any of you saw the new one? did u like it>?

I'm not much of an Indiana Jones fan, but my girlfriend saw it the other night and loved it. She said it was as good as, if not better than, the first ones.

I enjoyed it. I thought it was a lot of fun, and Shia LeBouf didn't piss me off. I admittedly had no rational reason for disliking him, except that he looks incredibly annoying and all I see is the kid from Even Stevens, that awful Disney show. He's an okay actor, and he didn't distract me, so I didn't mind him. I thought there were corny moments, a lot of the family stuff Spielberg does, but it was short-lived. The focus was the action and mysticism. It's obviously a silly plot, but I didn't go in expecting something where suspension of disbelief has to be at a minimum. As my first Indiana Jones movie, I'd have to say that I enjoyed it. My room mate borrowed the rest from a friend, so I'll consider watching Raiders.

I haven't seen it yet, but I don't really want to. I was baked with some friends last weekend (or was it Thursday?) and we caught one of the older Indiana Jones movies on USA. It was too hard to follow for me to take interest in.

i saw the movie and it wasnt nearly as good as i thought it would be. too unrealistic, i like the originals better.

Me and the GF went and saw it this weekend. I thought it was pretty good. A bit unrealistic yeah, but aren't they all at times. The ending was bit strange ( don't want to give anything away), but cool bringing Roswell into the picture. Overall it is a good "Indiana" movie and I reccomend it.

BTW, we went to go see this at the drive-in. It's pretty cool our town has one of the state's last surviving drive-ins. Our drive in has three screens with 6 different movies going. Nothing better than watching a movie in the car (with your stereo), a couple of beers and getting to puff down, on nice summer evening. You get two shows ( the other was Iron Man ) for $6 per person and kids under 12 are free (not as if I have any, but the friends do). Support your local drive-in if you have one, it' is a pretty cool way to see a couple movies.

Drive in movies rock. Some of my very best memories of friends and film were those lazy drive-in evenings...
