Yes, It's a pixar movie. But holy crap is it good. I just saw it tonight and it is absolutely amazing. One of the best movies I have seen in a long time. The first half of the film lacks any kind of dialogue but it's just visually stunning. Great story, great animation, great everything. Go see it

Awesome . I don't care what anyone thinks, if you can't appreciate a good animated movie you are just stuck-up. One of my favorite movies last year was Ratatouille .

I'll have to check it somehow sometime. I doubt I'll see it in theatres but I'll definitely be eager to catch it .
Thanks for the review

Edit: WOW! I just noticed this movie right now is #6 in IMDb!! In between Pulp Fiction and Schindlers List if you need an idea. That is HUGE.
Maybe I will catch this in theatres man!

I love animated movies I'll have to check this out. Surf's Up is probably one of my all time favorite movies and it's animated.

Yeah I was sober when I saw it but the visuals would definetly be fantastic high, hugh replay value for this bad boy when it's out on DVD. It's just an all around entertaining, touching, well told story. If you don't mind spending the outrageous prices theatres charge these days Dark I'd recommend seeing a late showing of it. No kids and I garuantee everyone will be deeply absorbed the whole way through.

Looks good. Finally something interesting from Pixar. It is about a robot who's been alone for 700 years.

Edit: Is the title pronounced "wally" ?

Well it's all the above plus more. The prices are insane, the kids (only somewhat), and the fact that I don't like crowded places makes me steer away from the movies most of the time unless it's a date or a movie I've been waiting a really long time to see.

And yes, it's pronounced Wally. but WALL-E stands for Waste Allocation Load Lifter - Earth Class.

The IMDb numbers impressed me a lot. It's going down, but still in the top 10. I've been keepin my eye on this

I'll download it. I have heard plenty of good things about it..

I dunno, Pixar is great but after Toy Story I gave up on animated flicks. I mean, I enjoy them but it's definitely not the same... RIP Buzz Lightyear. hehe...

You say RIP buzz lightyear but he's not gone. Toy story 3 I think is scheduled for next summer and the script writer that did little miss sunshine is penning this one. It should be interesting, even though I'll be 22 it's something I'll see in theatres with no embarassment. Just a later showing
