| Wow that sucked hard. Aside from the god awful acting... the plot was just fucking stupid. I admire the stretch they tried to pull off with the tabacco plants and algae blooms... but the extrapolation required to pull off the rest of the "killer plant" monster shit boggles the mind. It reminded me of the "Day before the day after tomorrow" south park episode, where they are running away from the air. |

| Typical M. Night Shymalan movie then? Seriously best part of his movie sare always the ads, with the exception of the 6th sense. |

| I think it's safe to say that Shymalan can go ahead and stop making movies now because they suck, including this latest crap fest. I liked the 6th sense and signs was at least watchable, however, the rest have sucked IMHO. |

| I know Shyamalan is losing it, and his movies are getting progressively more unlikely and lame... but I have no idea why the actors all of a sudden sucked as well. I mean, I can't really think of a movie with Mark Wallberg in it that I like off the top of my head, but I know I've never seen him act so horrible. Seriously, there were a few lines where he responded to some action/emotion/reaction with a delay of a few minutes. It made no sense. |

| I'll be in the minority on this one but I thought it was pretty good. It wasn't great but I don't know why people shit all over the logic of movies like that and then make hulk the #1 box office movie which makes even less sense. And I'm pretty sure the dialogue was supposed to be bad, well not bad, but like it was all spur of the moment random things. As in, shit is happening and people don't always have the perfect thing to say at the perfect time. The acting not so much, I just think Shyamalan writes a certain kind of way that only certain actors can handle and this one was just miscast. Either way, I was entertained and thought it was pretty thought provoking. And I liked them all but Lady in the water but even that had some good directing, he's just at the point where he's a better director than a writer and could use some outside advice. Still, I think the happening is getting such bad rep because of who made it and everyone is jumping on the this is going to suck bandwagon without going in with an open mind.

| The acting was bad, the idea was good but executed terribly. Lots of people are jumping on the bandwagon because in this case, the bandwagon is heading in the right direction. I mean, I can understand that he was trying to be "real" with the randomness, *SPOILER* like when John Leguizamo's character is driving to Princeton (w/e college town his wife went to) and the girl sees the people hanging. He pulls out that math problem about a penny a day and that times two the next day, the whole thing was just corny as hell how he said it. In order for that to have been as real as possible, he would've needed be a little startled and a little shaken, not him just saying it. In my opinion, a good movie needs a good script, good actors, a good director (and other staff), but most importantly, it needs good execution, and though I'm a fan of Mark Wahlberg, I'm a fan of John Leguizamo as well as most of the other actors, this movie didn't have good acting, it didn't have a good script and it was executed poorly. |

| Yeah. I wasn't a big fan of it as well. I mean.... TREES and PLANTS!? Come on now. I found it funny, that in his classroom the day he was teaching Biography, he managed to have the same lesson as what was going to happen. I was hoping for like, Aliens or something. It was really awesome on how the people just all of a sudden started killing themselves. But sometimes Shyamalan just goes way past the obvious to just down right stupid. It did have a big message of global warming in it though.

| Watched it last night. Terrible. Wahlberg talked in that high pitched voice the whole time, it drove me crazy. Overall: 2/10 Gave it 2 because it at least had decent cinematography. |
