I am so mad at that whole above the influence bull ****. commercials stating stay above weed. let me state again "WEED". I have seen about twelve different ones. i have wrote five or six letters to that group stating that weed is not as bad as meth, or coke. come on what are they trying to prove. They are probing the young minds of society turning them away from weed and on to other things. the commercial should say above the influence above alcohol, or crack or something else. it makes me so angry everytime i see those commercials cause all of them focus on pot. give me a break how many of you had your life ruined by pot. okay now how many of you had your life ruined by another drug such as alcohol or methanphetamine, or cocaine? honestly look at the statistics before you start throwing out bull. i understand what they are trying to do but its getting to a point where its just dumb.

They do tend to piss me off. Especially the one where the kid keeps stockpiling his weed and ends up building a mother-fucking COCOON!!! Then he comes out all 35 yrs old, bald, and fat. But I mean, damn thats a lot of wasted tree

the worst is "freevibe" the shit they put out is totally fake. like they have this section thats suposedly a forum (doesnt allow me nor anyone else with any differant oppinion post on it) and its like people posting storys about how bad drugs are and theres people who are like "ya i smoked weed and freaked out and saw monsters but i got addicted to it from one time and now im a terrable addict" i kid you not thats what someone said i can post a link if needed

i saw another one where this kid has flaming spots that keep appearing on his skin, then it shows the fire in his eye as he peeks thru the door looking at a teenager (his sister maybe?) and it shows the cherry of the joint. then its like smoking weed affects more than just you. that one really pisses me off

The website though.. it says something like "click here to read both sides of the argument so you can decide for yourself".. and then all it does is talk about how bad marijuana is for you, blah, blah, blah. I don't see both sides of the argument there.
They really should be tackling something that is actually a problem.. like meth or alcoholism.

Some friends and I went to a movie, totally baked of course, and the one where the kids get kicked by the horse played during the previews. We all started laughing uncontrollably.

But I agree, they're extremely angering when I'm sober. I hate how they are taking it in a more "innocent" direction, as opposed to the more harsh and shocking anti-meth/crack/etc ads. It's almost like they're saying, "Hey, we know it's a virtually harmless substance, but it will still undoubtedly screw up your life in every way possible, so just disregard anything positive you ever hear about weed. It's obviously not true. Oh, and by the way, not smoking marijuana makes you a better person than someone who does".

shit, my best friends dad was an alchoholic and he got beaten and so did his mom until the mom finally divorced the guy

I love propaganda like that. I see this kinda shit on the television all the time, late at night especially... when I'm already stoned.

I remember one night I saw the one with the cocoon, and I thought "if I had that much green, I definitely wouldn't make a cocoon out of it" and then I thought some more and realized "they used some shitty looking weed" and then I smoked some more.

I think it was Doug Benson that put it best on those commercials:

"Some weed that makes you melt into a chair? I saw that and I wanted to know where the fuck she got that shit!"

I'm almost certain I got the quote wrong, but, you guys get the point.
