Default About Schmidt

"Dear Ndugu,"....

I thought it would only be mediocre when I watched it the other day, free from my ondemand service. Man, I absolutely loved it! Schmidt reminded me so much of my own grandfather at his retirement.
His emotions and reactions are real and, for me at least, his character is easily relateable. If you like The Weatherman with Nicholas Cage, you will probably like this movie as well. A bit of a sad drawn out emotion ride, but with a bit of dark/witty humor mixed in between it all. I loved it and I can't deny I shed a tear or two by the end...

Anyone have any opinions? I'd love to hear em. I remember when this first came out, I was interested but then it died off. Now I regret not seeing it sooner!

I know I have seen this movie but damn I can't remember it. Maybe I was stoned when I watched it. I remember some parts of it as I watched the trailor. I guess I am going to have to rent it and watch it again.

Waste of 2 hours, or however long it was if you ask me. One of the most boring movies I've ever watched. Can't really remember much of it other than I didn't like it. One of Nicholson's worst movies.

One of his best, according to critics. But obviously, not everyone has the same taste in movies.
