|  Brotherhood Crime Series Has anyone else been following up on the Showtime series Brotherhood since it started back in 2006? It's not about a group of Italians like the Soprano's. It's more of a Irish gang in the state of Rhode Island. One guy Michael Caffey is a gangster and his brother Tommy Caffey is a State Representative who is sort of corrupt but wants nothing to do with his brother or his illegal activities. Tommy has a family and they keep secrets from each other. He finds out things like his daughter smoking pot, his wife cheated on him, he cheated on her. His brother being a criminal causes problems for him with his state job. The state police are investigating them. The character of Michael Caffey is sort of based on the fugitive James Whitey Bulger who was a Irish criminal that had a brother in politics but I think that was in Boston Massachusettes, not Rhode Island. | He found out that his wife cheated on him. After that they are working shit out and then his wife finds out he cheated on her. I was running off the statement that they keep secrets from each other. It's a good series to watch and makes for a good lineup with the other sunday night series shows that they run. | Yeah it's a good show. All new episodes start every sunday night and then the rest of the week at night they air the re-runs of that episode. I'm not sure how much of the story follows Whitey Bulger. A few months ago I looked up Brotherhood to see when the new season was going to start and found a article that talked about Whitey Bulger and compared him to the series Brotherhood. It said not to read about his life because it could spoil events in the show but I chanced it anyways. I forgot most of what I read about anyways. I'm not sure if the series will follow every event or maybe just have some similiarities to it.
