Please, I need some suggestions. I'm doing my college research paper on how marijuana prohibition is harmful to american society. Part of this research project is to analyze this theme in some film(feature length movie, no documentaries).
Can anyone give me any ideas for any movies that in some way convey this theme that marijuana prohibition hurts our society. If someone could help me out, it would be greatly appreciated

Man, I wish I had more suggestions. That sounds like a noble cause. But alas, the only suggestion that I can think of was a recent movie, and I didn't even see it.

The name, however, slips my tongue. Was it "Blow"? Maybe someone else can help me out here.

"Traffic" is another one, but I don't think it got very good reviews.

That is the movie that explains the history of illegal marijuana, and how just a few men made it illegal for sooo gosh darn long. It is surely a great movie, but i could have sworn it was a documentary.

Thanks for everything guys, keep the ideas comming ^_^. yeah I'm pretty sure Grass is a documentary, because it crossed my mind b4 .
I'm trying to use a movie that does not focus on hard drugs, but more marijuana. I was thinking of using the old "Reefer Madness" movie, and relating it to how the government decieves people. That seems somewhat weak though, I was hoping to come up with something stronger.
