|  For Huge Film Buffs: What is your favorite director and why? Directors are usually solely responsible for the overall outcome of a movie and are usually considered the authors or artists of their product. My favorite director is Roman Polanski because I love nearly all of his films to death and think he has an extraordinary talent with visuals and also because of the sad and almost unrealistically tragic life he has lead. Second is probably Stanley Kubrick or Martin Scorsese followed most likely by Gus Van Sant or Ingmar Bergman. I am also a huge fan of Sidney Lumet, because of his great storytelling. Tarantino (imo) is getting worse as time goes on and more "Hollywood" and I love P.T. Anderson but his latest flick 'There Will Be Blood' was a little disappointing, in my opinion. Anyway, I talk to much, your opinions? |
