I re-watched the entire seasons 1-3 before season 4 started and you realize just how much of a different show Dexter is, now, compared to when it started. I guess that just happens along with the character development. Man, showtime is great, Dexter and Weeds are my favorite tv shows.

Yeah, last night's episode was amazing! Unfortunately, it felt REALLY short.. I dunno if it was just me.

Still, Lithgow's character is pretty brutal. He seems really similar to Dexter though.. I wonder how this is gonna end! The preview of the next episode showed them having a little showdown.. Can't wait!

I still like where this is going. Much more suspenseful then previous seasons, and Lithgow fitting the role to a tee. Its going to be fun watching the events unfold between the two opposite...yet alike...protaginists. Both kill. Both have codes. Bah...can't wait.

I feel that way any episode were Dex doesn't get someone on the table.If Dex doesn't kill it seems like an empty episode. Loved last week when he thought "I'm gonna cut that hand off first" about the lady cop frisking him .funny stuff. Does that make me evil?

It almost seemed like if Trinity didn't attack his sister, Dex would have got to know him to pick up tips on how to hide. In an episode where he's getting heat from Rita, here's a guy who's been killing for 30 years and has a family. It kind of gives Dex hope his marriage isn't doomed. This is gonna be good. Lithgow is the best at playing crazy.

Anyone else think Rita is getting annoying? I mean didn't she already cover up Dex's set up of her ex by tossing the shoe in season end 1 or was it two2 and in her way complicit in his death? Was two years ago, not sure I'm remembering it all....

Spoilers from the first few seasons in this post.

Rita keeps catching him fucking up. He lied to her about being a recovering drug addict. Dokes was the only guy that found that out because he asked Deb if Dexter fell off the wagon again when he was going to rehab to avoid suspicion from him. Deb is living with them right now. If Rita says anything to her about Dexter being a drug addict he might get caught in another lie and she brought up his drug use when she found out he still had his apartment.

Dexter will probably try to get to know Trinity a little before killing him. I agree that he is wondering how the guy manages to keep his family while doing what he does.

Zoey didn't have a clue who Dexter was but because Trinity and Dexter are about the same he might see through him that something isn't right and not fall for any traps like the cop Zoey did.
