Check out the movie Traffic, in theaters now. Considering that Hollywood is typically a spineless pawn of the drug war, this is an admirable effort. Worth the $7.

Traffic is definately worth checking out. It's very much different from anyother film dealing with drug related issues. It's not a gangster film, a stoner film, or Reefer Madness-type propaganda. There's some surprises in the end that keep you interested and it left me thinking for days afterward.

great movie, but i don't like hiow they have ppl smoking a bong and watching tv while their doing coke, like saying kids think they are just as dangerous and can be used as freely. i downloaded a screener of it but never saw it in the theater, the internet is great, and that was freebased coke they were smoking.

I had been waiting years for this movie to come out and it was to say the least, amazing...

It's extremely refreshing to find a movie that doesn't automatically fall into the same old tired cliche of drug movies, drugs are bad, there users are bad and the government is right...

This movie told the truth, the current policy IS NOT working, and it's not just sick depraved people on the fringe of society who do drugs, it's you and me and everyone in between...

I thought the story of the young preppy girl (the drug was heroin by the way, they began smoking it, "chasing the dragon" and she went on to shoot) was simply added by the studios because ****, it can't be a total anti- government movie, but it was powerful nonetheless...

I think every drug user should be greatful that a film finally coems out not just blasting the user, but the governemnt that demonizes them so, and incredbile picture I reccomend EVERYON should see...

Too bad it was blatantly robbed at the Oscars...

I really loved Traffic and it's accurate depiction of the "war on drugs" I thought it was a brilliant movie. Did anyone else notice that alcohol was in almost every scene in the first part of the movie? I thought it was hillarous that the would-be drug czar and politicians talking about how to fight the war on drugs while they're all slugging down alcohol. I thought it was a nice political statement. I saw this movie in a small town movie theater and it shocked me at what points the audience gasped. So many people have no idea of what really goes on everyday and where it happens.....

Talking GREAT MOVIE!!

Right after i left the movie theater i smoked a bowl and thought about the drug war and the movie
Remember how Washington DC was always blue and Mexico was red and the actual life scenes were normal
so i made up a little theory here.
Mexico is where all the drugs are, that bad right?! RED means stop, or red means HELL, hell is where all the druggies are. see where iam going!?
as for Wash. DC, it was blue, blue is good, blue remembers heaven, where everything is right and perfect
and the middle is like the limbo, where there is good and bad, the real life stories, people that use drugs and sh*t
what do you guys think about my little conspiracy theory?!?!

great movie, it deserves 5 doritos on the doritosman scale!!
