sorry..it's resurection time. I really liked almost famous...I've seen it several times and could see it several more and it still wouldn't get old to me. It did a good job of letting people know things that went on behind the music scene. And it also has an awesome soundtrack.

It comes on everyday on HBO. Ive seen it so many times I cant watch it again or I'll throw up. It is a great movie though. Just dont watch it everyday. That goes for every movie.

Totally agree... i love Almost Famous!

I've got the Dir's bootleg dvd (great value, be sure to pick it up. 3-disc, theatrical cut, dir's cut and a music cd with the Stillwater tunes on it!!). I did find the dir's cut a little difficult to digest tho and it kinda ruined a certain charm that Penny Lane has(had) in the film... mmm... I do like PL {Kate Hudson}

Fave scene has to be Russel jumping off the roof into the pool... and you can tell rolling stone magazine that my last words were: I'M ON DRUGS... yeah! Class. Fave character other than Penny has to be Red Dog... he's the cool biker/stoner/roadie... "HEY BROTHER!" he wheezes to the protagonist while takin' a hit off a bong...

Great music - gotta love Fever Dog. Great cast. Great film.
