I highly suggest this movie. It has anthony hopkins its shakespeare and its just over all great. Theres murder, rape, revenge, dismemberment, a twisted emperor, war, blood, insanity, and an over all great plot for a movie. I wont give much away but it is shakespeare so you can rely on one thing and thats that everyone important eventually dies in it The old english is hard to understand sometimes but me and my gf got through it ok getting the jist of it plus some. And well like shakespeare does he basically dumbs it down for you after every big line. Anyway lots of awesome imagery, my gf loved it and she was baked of course i was sober but i still thought it was definitly worth 3.50, so i suggest it to anyone thats looking for a decent movie to rent, you will not be dissapointed. Anyone seen it wanna lend comments?

lol i thought it was going to be about that show too. Ive
never seen that show and i wanted to see if it wa any good
by reading this post/ oh well

however i have seen titus the movie and i agree it was a
very well done creative movie. Shakespear surpassed
the title of genius. It is very abstract so you might find it
extremely wierd or stupid at the begining. Cleric is right
the plot is very deep adn the climax is amazing.

Cleric, what was that very fitst scene with the little boy and his toys. He was in his kitchen adn then the camera went to the stadium. I really didn't understand that.
what was that?

ya that one puzzled me too the kid is anthony hopkins sons son, and he was just playing and had to go to a meeting im guessing so that guy came and got him, it was odd though and yeah doesnt make much sense at all now that i think about it. Ahh well that movie rocked, when its 15 dollars its mine mwa haha

Yeah, excellent movie. But only if you don't mind a 3-hour-long Shakespearean movie. I went to see it with two friends, one of whom also liked it, the other of whom nearly slit his wrists.

I particularly liked the bit where Anthony Hopkins was doing his chef bit, serving up that pie. He is one kick-a$$ actor.

As for the bit at the beginning, it was pretty weird. I read an interview with the director, and I remember thinking "ah, so that's what all that was about", but I've forgotten now. (Doh!). It's a while since it was out here. Is it just out now in the US? If it is, it makes a nice change from us getting everything two months *after* you guys.

The digital photography was impressive too...
