If you saw the first one i recommend seeing this one, its got great gross parts its got action, armies of the undead, its got treasures, its got beautiful egyptian women! Over all this movie was excellent. It picks up where the first one left off and it keeps a lot of the same actors. The rock is in it from wwf but dont worry hes not around all that long to ruin the film with his cheesy one liners or horrible acting. My favorite scene is where the undead pigmys attack the desert guys with their bone knives and blow guns. Nothing better than seeing needles shoot up the bad guys! Another good point was that it had a preview for Jurassic Park 3 which looks to be as good as the first and second ones. It comes out july 13 so i think as my birthday present ill go to it myself. Anyway i suggest if you liked the first mummy or even if you didnt see it to go ahead and watch The Mummy 2.

that movie was absolutely terrible. The graphics looked cool but they looked so fake. THe plot was incredibly stupid and the acting was complete ****. i am sorry but i disagree/

Man, im gonna have to agree with stoned on this one. The mummy II was really not that great. At the beginning it was like they rushed the plot, these grave robbers came from nowhere...and also the freakin tatoo on frasers arm was out of left field, plus in the first one he was american, but in the second he grew up in cairo in an orphanage...kinda hard back then if you were american.

All in all i would reccomend you seeing this if you like the first one, just dont go in with high hopes just to be dissapointed. It is better to go in expecting **** and be pleasantly suprised...


Make sure to pack plenty of cocoa in the theatre though, i hear they get quite nippy. ;-)

well, in the beginning the movie didn't seem like it was going to be bad.... then once they took off in that fake a$s balloon thing i was ready to walk out but didn't.... i didn't see the first one ( i heard it was way better than the 2nd though )
it's only worth seeing if you've been wanting to see it for a really long time.... other than that, save your money!
when i saw it i was high & got a couple of good laughs but the things i was laughing at weren't suppose to be funny (hint hint- not a good movie)
but we all have different tastes......
when's a good indie flick coming out??????

Yeah...very bad movie. I was expecting it to be bad, though.....so at least I wasn't disappointed.

Way too far-fetched, fake-looking special effects, horrible acting, terrible plot.
