I thought they are getting rid of that show, they do alot of stupid things, and i mean overly stupid. Many kids have tried to do things they have seen on the show, and not to long ago a kid did die trying to do one of the stunts.

I would love to see the parents of that kid sue MTV, and jackass for every single penny they are worth, so MTV shuts down and we can maybe get a quality music TV channel instead.

I miss the days when you could sit down and actully listen to, or watch music. Now it is a bunch of teens acting all cool.

Default I saw it, I laughed, then felt like puking..

I saw a newspaper article thuther day that was titled, "Is America Getting Dumber?" The article was focused on the television viewing habits of Americans. Jackass was the first show the article talked about. It mentioned the episode where these people are eating raw eggs to the point of making themselves puke(the episode where I stopped laughing and felt like puking.) The article also talked of some show called the "Missing Link" or "Weakest Link??" and how the host degrades people who give wrong answers, etc. The American tv viewing audience apparentlt really enjoys watching people be made to feel like an idiot. (Apparently the contestants are some kind of masochists?)

I don't know about TV anymore. It ain't what it was when I was a kid. I grew up on Happy Days, The Love Boat, Archie Bunker. I remember when they showed a live baby getting his diaper changed on that show and the babies pee-pee showed for a brief second and the censors were all over that show.

I think that if televison today reflects the actual morality and values of American society, ehh, it kind of bothers me if it is a true reflection of us as a people. I do NOT condone censorship, but I do encourage some decency. I guess if people want to watch garbage, that is certainly a personal freedom guaranteed by the Constitution, however I personally just never felt the need to dedicate hours per week to a box spewing out crap. So many people are so heavily influenced by what they see on TV. I've seen examples of it here where people ask LEO's silly questions about being arrested..basing their questions on something they have seen on a totally fictional television show.

Children are easily influenced by their environment. I wonder what it does to the mind of a 10 year old to see a grown man sitting in a port-a-potty having human feces dumped all over him?(Jackass) What kind a message does that send to children? What kind of message does it send to people in the future studying the life and times of people in the 21st century?? I'm embarrased for a lot of those people, if they have no humility or shame, I'll have some for them. It's really gross.

And to answer any question regarding, "Who am I to judge?" Well, I am me, myself and I can judge anything I want, for me, my family and the children I teach. This opinion is mine. If you disagree, cool, but I still think what I think.

peace

Talking jackass

Times change.

I think Jackass is one of the best shows. Yea, they do some stupid things but they are funny.

It's just a new kind of humor.

Smile I downloaded the 3rd eps.

And i give it 4 doritos out of 5 on the doritosman scale
There are some funny scenes, like when he drops off the vert ramp for the first time and when he gets sprayed by the skunk (even my dad laughed, and my dad doesnt laugh a lot), gonna download some other eps. later. And if some dumb kid does what he see on TV well, he is pretty dumb. I prolly drop off the vert ramp, always wanted tho. Wich stunt did the kid die trying to do??

I think the kid died when he was doing a wrestling thing he saw on Jackass. He jumped on a table and broke his neck or something like that, I'm not 100% sure. I've never seen Jackass because I live in Canada and we have Much Music which plays music almost all day, kinda like old MTV .
