| Jr. Member | wib, why don't you like Snoop?! He is all about weed. That's pretty much why I like him. Where is that interview with him, mj.com was supposed to do? I think Mtv sucks but I still watch it sometimes. Like Jackass and Cribs. I like to see what I will get when I become rich, I hope. Much Music rocks! I watch it sometimes, but I usually watch Fox, because The Simpsons rocks! Well, my 301st post! hehe ![]()

| Senior Member ![]() | Right on PinkLincoln, the State was probably the best thing MTV has ever been involved in. Ever. Wait, I take that back, there was one MTV awards show where Pearl Jam and Neil Young played "Rockin' in a Free World". That was probably the best, with the State being #2 behind it.

| mtv has become very obsessed with their success. its like all you see now is "mtv's craziest...", "mtv's coolest...", "mtv's edgiest..." crapdowns. the obvious lack of talent they adhere to is repulsive...but thats where the money is, so as long as these morons wanna hear it, they will play it. the only real beef i have with mtv is that in the unlikely event trl actually plays a song you can groove to (with minimal censorship) they purposely wait until the BEST PART of the song before they plaster some retard on the screen; "i requested this song cause im a blithering idiot, i have no idea what im talking about and im a f*cking moron! WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!!!!" so then you think to yourself "errrrr! ok well the end is cool maybe they wont screw that up." no, theyll just cut that part off...just >snip< no more 'end part'. all gone. never happened. its like, "what the f*ck?!?" ive learned to compensate for mtv's lack of artistic integrity by keeping the channel on mute and listening to my stereo. that way i get good quality music without having to sacrifice the luscious ladies dancing in bikinis. ![]() | |

| Ever see those 20th anniversary special shows like 20 years of rock or comedy on MTV? I mean they're basically shows where MTV sucks its own d***. They get so-so celebrities to come on and say stuff like MTV discovered these comedians and these rock stars and what not. Basically, claiming they wouldn't be anywhere had it not been for MTV. While the network may have played somewhat of a part in their fame, the shows are just so transparent in their self praise. It sort of reminds me of Gore stating that he invented the internet. Because two things happened in around the same general time interval, people claim causation. I also get the impression that Britney Spears, N'Sync, and the Backstreet Boys actually own the network. Like they made all the decision that anything they do is newsworthy. It's these groups who MTV was a co-conspirator in creating. Now it's like a martial arts movie where the students have surpassed the teacher. First, they catered to MTV's schedule, now they've grown so big that they have the network at their command. Needless to say, it's quite vexing. | |

| YES!!! MTV is just pathetic. It used to be cutting edge and hip, nowadays watching it is like attending a bad group therapy/anger management session. It's all style, no substance...and the scary thing is, the "style" isn't even stylish anymore. I get such a kick out of seeing these idiots on Spring Break or whatever the Hell it's called. I guess the only prerequisite for MTV stardom is the desire to make a fool out of yourself. You can tell they think they're so cool, but guaranteed 20 years down the line, they're going to be denying it to their grandkids. And what's with this ongoing invasion of boy bands?! SHEESH!!! I haven't seen this many screaming girls since Lief Garrett's "sock" hit the airwaves. | |

| It feels good to know that there are alot of people out there with the same views as me, because I think that MTV is the worst channel on the face of the earth. | |

| Just wanted to say that I almost see why they bleep out the hash part but not on the song by city high, that song is talking about a deadbeat father messing up his (and his baby mommas and babys life ) it says "hes somewhere smoking rock now in and out of lock down" and I have never heard the hashpipe song. SNOOP ROCKS. | |
