mtv is everything i hate, on the television. it looks like a bunch of clones running around acting retarded becuase they are told its cool to do it. robotic minds basking in the glow of the radioactive make-up all the fake vj's have on.

Personally, I think it's utter hypocrisy that someone can say "*****" on TV but not "hash," which reminds me, I was watching "The Breakfast Club" the other day on TBS, and had forgotten about that scene where they are all smoking pot together. Why is it that pot-smoking scenes are acceptable, but mentioning "hash" isn't? And if it is SO immoral and wrong, what are we even doing on this site?! NONSENSE....PURE NONSENSE!!!!!!!!!

Anyone ever seen Cheech and Chong's next movie on Comedy Central? First time I saw it they played the edited version, instead of a 20 lb bag of herb he had a bag of "diamonds" and cheech's cousin had "diamond fields". i saw it again about a week or two ago and they played it mostly unedited, showed all the herb and everything, I just wonder why the sudden change.

the only time they actually play music on mtv druing the day and its ****. they show about 30 seconds of each video. id really love to see like a million people request something like sublime "smoke 2 joints" and it would be at number one just for that day. all them teeny pop drones anticipating the backstreet boys or britney spears and they get to see sublime "smoke 2 joints". that would make my day.

I'd like to see everyone request Phish, "Down with Disease". It's the only video they ever made and it was directed by bassist Mike Gordon. I've never seen it, but Gordo's into some pretty far out film technique's I've heard it's pretty weird.

Either that or "Touch of Grey" by the Dead. It's far from my favorite Dead song, I've heard some live versions that are pretty sick but the recorded one just doesn't do it for me, but it's still the Dead.
