What it is, y'all?

I hate TV. I don't watch it, I don't keep up on things at all. Unless I'm high and then there is nothing finer...

I pose this question. Ever notice how TV seems so bizarre when you're high. You stumble across the weirdest stuff when you scan the channels?

For instance. I got high with a friend last night and we scanned the channels. It seemed like the programming was geared towards people on drugs. On Nickelodeon we came across an episode of Invader Zim (greatest cartoon on TV), an infomercial for a facial toner that gives your facial muscles small electrocutions and makes it contort into weird expressions, we saw an episode of South Park featuring a talking towel that gets high, watched enough of the BBC to hear the following quote, "Karen has a job to do and it's her job to do it."

This is but a small taste and by no means new to me. It seems like this sort of programming is always on when I'm high and watching TV. Is TV really this weird oro do you only notice it when you're high?

I agree, Though i used to love TV Im now finding it more and more dumb and boring. I have no clue why but i know for a fact i dont like it as much as i used to.

Today i was all stoned and turned on nickolodean and i saw a dog talking i was like whaaaaaaaaaattttttttttttt?????? then i turned on MTv to see how skripted the real world is people keep stuttering and thinking so hard about what they are going to say then i turned on TnT and I saw John Trovolta playing an Angel it freaked me out but for some reason i couldnt stop watching it

Word to big bird. Watching 3 hours of advertisement bull**** is mucho fun. In sobriety these infomercials are completely lame! But stoned... they are a source of huge comedy. I don't know what it is. Is the bull**** more apparent when you're high or what?

man, tv is the biggest trip in the world. look at the actors of the shows, do you honestly think you can do that kinda stuff sober? why do you think all these actors and muscians die from drugs or have drug problems. televison is one thing i cant stand, it can get you everything or take it away. if you control the tv programming then you control the world.

there are so many ways you can manipulate people through tv, man if you cant see how mtv does it your blind. i dont know about where you all live, but all i have to do is look around and everyone is the same, its like there no more origonality, and this is because all we do is watch tv, see what we want to be, instead of searching who we really are.


i hate TV!!!!! if you understand the demonic manipulative side of it, then you know what i mean.

word up. I don't watch TV because I think a lot of it is just manipulation. Lulling people into a false sense of security. It's not healthy and I don't like the thought of being influenced by something so meaningless.

media manipulation is also a big problem with me. The TV can tell you what's going on via news feeds, but is this the truth? how do you know? Could these news stations be reporting biased information in favor of the corporation that owns them? Read The Media Monopoly sometime. Then follow it up with You Are Being Lied To. Then follow that up with Coercion. Three great books about how we're being screwed by the media.

i think the only purpose of tv is that it's really weird, these days. i only watch it for weirdness value. i've tripped a lot so i'm good at perceiving weirdness, even in total sobriety...

If you watch tv for weirdness than you MUST see the juiceman juicer infomercial it is the absolute craziest thing out there. If you've seen it please post, if not find it it's pure hilarity.

ps I think that dude's eyebrows are living entities

There is this commerical now with abunch of dancing women wearing camo shorts and tank tops. They dance in unison waving their arms chanting "there's more to girls" or something. I saw this a few weeks ago sober and almost had a coniption. T.V. is absurd to say the least...
