Yes! I love scary movies while high. especially halloween...and evil dead 2...those movies kick ass

Exorcist is the best horror flick ever made, i read the book before i saw the movie and WOW the book is just like the movie.

Poltergeist(sp?) scary/funny movie

The omen: i also read the book and i think the book is better because there is a lot of really graphic stuff in it to put in a movie

krippul man, no offense, but i think 13 ghosts looks like one of the cheesiest, WORST movies ever. i mean, come on...look at the title. 13 GHOSTS. it's like one of those infomercials...

'this movie has not one ghost, not two ghosts, and i know what you're thinking... not 3 either. not 1, 2 or 3...not 4, 5, 6, 7...10...they're all great numbers, but none nearly as great as...THIRTEEN! 13 GHOSTS! wow, what a deal. all for the low, low price of enduring 2 hours of typical, hollywood bullsh*t. call now! operators are standing by.'

and shannon elizabeth isn't the best actor in the world, either... her breasteses are fake too.

Horror movies are my bag, man. I have a huge collection of obscurities, euro-horror, J-Horror.

my recommendations and try your hardest to find these, they're not exactly easy to find.

Dawn of the Dead - you can rent this one just about anywhere. It's the sequel to Night of the Living Dead. Excellent movie, one of my all time faves.

The Ring - From Japan. One of the scariest movies ever made. An urban legend about a video tape that causes the death of the viewer in a week after viewing it is circulating and one of the viewers has a week to break the curse before she dies. Sounds incredibly lame on paper but the execution is flawless. Blair Witch 2 ripped off the Sedako walk for their movie.

Wild Zero - Another one from Japan. A cross between Rock and Roll Highschool and Night of the Living Dead. It's intentionally cheesy and VERY violent. Not really scary but extremely entertaining.

City of the Living Dead - Incredibly stupid movie from Italy. By "horror master" Lucio Fulci. It's so silly it's fun. Best not eat before watching it.

Night of the Living Dead - Regarded as Drive In schlock by most, it's one of the most underappreciated horror movies ever. First of all, it's genuinely terrifying, secondly it's a really good movie despite a low budget.

I could probably think of a million more, but I'm tired and it's late... I'm sure to comment on other movies people mention as they come up.

Have you seen any of made by Zé do Caixão know in the USA as Coffin Joe? He has really long nails in just one hand and a really cool beard. Look for him i'm sure you will like it

While not really into horror films I watched The Ring the other eve and I can highly recommend it to everyone. Same story premise as the Japanase original that RapscalionJones mentioned, a videotape that ensures the death of its viewer on the 7th day after seeing it. Some scary sh!t, believe me.

There's even a scene in it where one of the soldier guys is tending to a weed crop...but you can tell it's only an Aralia plant!

The recently re-mastered NOTLD is GREAT! It really brings more of the story to life (pun INTENDED

) and the new musical score is a whole lot better than the original!

Some horror movies have left a lasting impression on me...like the aforementioned 'Excorcist'! What a piece of work THAT was! And the added scenes and images in the 'directors cut' are CHILLING!
