I dont think anyone has mentioned the wwf on the boards so i figured i would make a topic and see if there are any other wrestling fans out there.

Id have to say my favorite wrestler is Edge, he really brought a new kind of style and attitude to the world wrestling federation. As far as new school wrestlers go he is the man. My favorite old school wrestler would have to be the undertaker, i think i still have one of those purple finger things from a live event i went to like 6 years ago.

I realise that to most people wrestling isnt real. I dont think thats looking at it the right way though, its sports entertainment now a days, the matches are scripted to a degree but for the most part the wrestlers have control over the match. The moves they perform does horrid damage to their bodies and these people dont get an off season. Id say thats pretty real given what the wwf is.

Anyway like i said any other fans here?

I used to really be into the WWF for a while a year ago. I went to a Jakked/Raw show in San Jose july 10, 2000. It was the show where The Undertaker throws a scooter off the stage that gave to him. It was tight I had a lot of fun. I dunno, for some reason I havent been watching it like I used to. I watched Smackdown a few weeks ago and I was very entertained. I asked myself "Why did I stop watching it".....and I told myself "Now I remember why I used to watch it" after laughing from something that I cant remember (doo doo doo...Marijuana affects the memory).

I dont have 1 favorite...I have wrestlers that I would rather have win depending on who they are wrestling. I havent watched it in so long I dont even know whats going on anymore.

to me wwf is just as bad and cheesy as american gladiators.
I saw once on TV about this amatuer league and that was real stuff, they showed a fight and the dude was using a chair with barb wire rolled on it, and the dude hit the guy on the face and cut the guy's cheeck open. that was some pretty intense stuff. WWF is just a buch of "pumped up" bad actors...

The World Wrestling Federation is f'n awesome. I never miss a Raw/Smackdown or Heat. My favorite wrestler is Triple H with Kane coming in at a close second. Sure wrestlings not real but to be one you have to train yourself and work hard. Personally, i don't know what i'd do if wrestling wasn't on. I don't think getting high and watch Alley McBeal would be the same as getting high and watching some kick ass wrestling.

Seriously, that phrase really flashed me out, I think I'm gonna go rent some books at the library tomorow, stoned philosopher is right tough, Tv sucks, They put too many commercials, too many dumb stuff, *sigh* just thinking how much ppl get paid for making a goddamn movie, it's all greed... think of julia roberts, who doesn't want to make a movie under 20 million U$... and I read in a magazine that when her brother was in need, she didn't want to give a helping hand, anyways i'm off subjecT

back to wwf, I used to take a peek, if I stumbled upon it, mostly raw, it's basically a soap opera... but if it entertains u, why stop

i've been watching wwf for about a year and a half now. my fave wrestler would have to be the greatest technical wrestler to ever grace the squared circle.... chris benoit. i can't wait for him to return.

Man , i just started watching wrestling a couple weeks ago, and got-damn is it sweet. I used to look at it and say to my self, "thats so friggin cheesy, it's all set up" then i took the stick outta my ass and though "ITS SUPPOSE TO BE SET UP" and now i really can't get enough of the hardcore backflips off the top rope etc. They have so much skill, people don't even realize it, it would be really funny to see someone who -thinks its so set up- to get in the ring and pull of the sh1t that these guys do.

....oh ya and the hot whores are entertaining too
