| Have any of you guys seen this BS propoganda flick?! I saw the last 15 min. or so on A&E the other night, and I couldn't believe it. It was from 1956 or so...one of these supposedly "serious" social commentaries of the day, but it was just laughable. In the little bit I saw, though, these teenagers were driving recklessly and crashed their car, and one of the girls was still inside, only when her boyfriend realizes it, the car goes up in flames, and he starts screaming and crying, then this cop at the scene says something like "Man, these kids just don't know what they're getting into." I was like "What the hell is this ****," then I read the description of the film. Basically, it said something like "A new kid in town introduces his friends to marijuana"....and I thought things were bad NOW!!!! Seriously, though, has anyone seen this?! Did people REALLY buy into this crap back then?! No wonder half the country's brainwashed. |
