If all goes well, I will be seeing this movie this weekend. It looks really intense and creepy, and with Jodie Foster starring in it, at least I know it's a quality script. Anyone who sees this please post a review. Thanks so much!!!!!!!!

i saw a special on the making of that movie. it had some interesting scenes/spoilers that they showed. they said that many politicians/well-off people/powerful individuals have those types of rooms built in their homes, condos, apartments, etc. all the time. i would love to have a room like that to grow in

whats a panic room anyway? I know its a movie and all but you say that people actually have these rooms. so what purpose do they serve?

from what i understand it is just safe room in case of an intruder or some other danger...

so if someone comes to steal that ounce you just bought.. run to the panic room

If it is directed by David Fincher (Fight Club) it has to be good.

Mostly Panic rooms consist of a single room in the house with no windows, and is built withthick walls and door. They are suppose to give someone enough time to call the police and have them arrive.

They are actually pretty common with politicians, and such. I read it in some article i saw on the internet.

I absolutely love Jodi Foster. I have such immense respect for that woman.

The Panic Room idea? It seems a bit self-serving but we'll see.

I saw Panic Room yesterday, and I can't such much more than 4-freakin'-stars.

It has all the aspects that a great thriller flick should have - Good actors, a solid script, stunningly beautiful camera shots and musical score, and even a bit of comic relief.

There are no plot holes, no slow parts, and everything seems to serve a purpose.

The movie is fantastic. See it.
