Last night, after consuming around fifteen cups of coffee, I found myself with a full-on case of insomnia. Now, with three channels at my disposal, the pickin's of what to watch were slim, to say the least. I settled with Jerry Springer.

I haven't had the misfortune of catching Jerry Springer all that often, it being on school nights and all so needless to say I was shocked, yet strangely drawn to this trash-slinging circus.

The guests were terrible, the acting totally visible, and not one thing to learn from the whole mess until Jerry's Final Word segment, which is Jerry's attempt at making good of all of the wrongs committed over the course of the preceding show. I was ashamed to be an American for a brief moment, wondering what other countries thought of this horriffic cherade of insolent idiots, full of missing teeth and some of the poorest english I've ever heard.

The odd thing is, is that I couldn't turn it off! I had to keep watching until the show was over. The sheer idiocy of the whole thing blew my mind!

I gotta go now, I think I hear some people chanting, "Jerry! Jerry!" I must follow the sound.

Ya, I agree. Apparently, quite a few of the people on that show are L.A.-based porn actors/actresses that are flown into Chicago. Half of the stuff is contrived, anyhow, and the stuff that isn't is just pathetic. IMO, Jerry Springer is truly the scum-of-the-Earth. How he ever got elected to office I'll never know.

The crazy thing is ... his show is still making money, new episodes, etc. I hate it ... but he's just making $$$. What the hell is wrong with the guests, and audience, and even us the people who pay Jerry to keep going. Hehehe.

Dont worry there are shows like that (inspired in Jerry) all over the world, there is one here that i think its worse than Jerry Springer. But its the exact same thing, people with out teeth, fights, mics flying all over the places, she-males b!tching at each other. Its the people like you and me, that dont like to watch it but some how feels atracted to this modern age freak show that suports it. Sometimes when im flipping thru the channels i always take a little longer at that channel, just to see if there is going to be any fighting and the worse part is that here its live so you dont have to buy the "too hot for TV" to watch the cool parts ehehehehehehe

The show doesn't actually accomplish anything. It doesn't solve the problems in these people's lives. There have been many cases in which people have been murdered due to an unfavorable appearence on the Jerry Springer Show. It's hilarious to watch Jerry's cheesy Final Thoughts. He somehow manages to bundle together wornout cliches about society into a few sentences of irrelevent psychobabble. I earnestly detest this man.

If your friend is already dead, and being eaten by vultures, I think it's okay to feed some bits of your friend to one of the vultures, to teach him to do some tricks. But only if you're serious about adopting the vulture.
