So on the 16th me and like 50 people left school half way through the day and went to see Star Wars EpisodeII. I think it was pretty good though not as good as Empire Strikes Back and Return of Jedi, but certainly light years ahead of Episode1 which just sucked. Everybody elses oppinions??

i couldnt agree anymore. much better than Episode I, thought nothing comes close to touching the "classics".

i just got back from seeing it and although i didnt go on opening night, i had to sneak in because it was sold out.

i think the best scenes were the fights near the end. everybody busted out with their best manuvers and we FINALLY get to see Yoda fight! He kicks a$$ man!

i love how he made the lighting seem like playdoo ! plus he goes off MAD with his light-sabre! 3 tokes for Yoda!

but all the jedi fights man... those lightsabers... *shwing* *schwing* yeah yeah

and yoda... omg the little guy... such a powerfull little person....

lightsabers... u see all the jedis man....

I wish they could just make star wars movies in a day... everyday

You're obviously not a fan.

The story was much stronger than Episode I. If you can't handle a love story as a b-plot then by all means, don't watch.

But I guarentee you, this movie was by no sense of the word "sh*tty".

the plot was fairly decent compared to episode1 which had next to none and alot of annoying footage of Jar Jar(i was happy to hear the rumor that his stupid ass will be dead in EpIII). The fighting scenes were brilliant and the Yoda lightsabre scene had me hypnotized.. i never imagined how fast the little guy could move until i saw it.

lets all smoke a bowl for yoda everybody!

I want to buy the movie on DVD so I can see the yoda scene in slow motion. Good movie, hopefully ill be more stoned when I see it again. Could have done without the arrogant anakin, but I won't complain. I wonder if George Lucas has his own death star with all that money hes making. You do not want to sell me death sticks, I had to laugh at that one.

I think George shouldn't have directed AOTC as he has a knack for emanating cheese, there were a lot of scenes that were just woodenly plain and boring (script was at fault for some of this too mind) i.e. Clone Trooper & Amidala scene on the Sand Dune of Geonosis... urgh Monsieur, gorgonzola like me not...!

Yoda was a tad ott, if the little chap could do that why could he not do it 25-35 years later when training Luke on Dagobah?? Was cool to watch tho, just didn't expect him to be the energizer bunny on speed.

Overall a good flick and definitely one for the fans (I myself am one and left the flicks feeling satisfied). The battle at the end of the film surpassed my imagination and was simply breathtaking, and it more than made up for the "s##ty" Anakin/Amidala love scenes. 7/10

Looking forward to the next installment... I can see that one being the better of the first chapters.

i found everything before the "colesium" part of the movie was extremely boring, the massive amount of poor dialogue was very distasteful in my mind, that horrible pun at the colesium just cut it for me "dont worry about her, shes on top of things" then you see her climbing a 12 foot rock tablet, bah!

the "romance" scenes were just brutes, not to mention anikan just keeps getting cut down in the movie haha

everyone knows anakin turns into vadar, its not a secret or anything, but they over did on the part of making anakin look evil after he had killed those tuscan raiders (sp?), "i killed them all.....not just the men! but the women and children too!!!" lol you get the point

btw samuel L Jackson was awsome

Tommi i absolutely agree with you. The relationship between anakkin and amadala was done poorly. And it was basically just waiting for the last 40 minutes in the arena. Everything past the arena was amazing, they did the last battle very well.
