| Who else thinks that "Memento" is a v.cool movie. After watching it once I just had to watch it again, then after the second viewing I just had to buy it! For those who haven't seen it here's a small rundown: Guy Pearce [LA Confidential] stars as Leonard Shelby, a man with a memory condition, it's not amnesia tho but a condition where he can only remember things within a certain space of time (15mins or so I think it is). Although he can remember everything upto the point where he developed his condition - this being caused by a blow to the head from a criminal who raped and murdered his wife. As Leonard remembers everything previous to this i.e. his wife, the murder etc. he makes it his lifes work to track down and kill the criminal. The people he meets along the way add a whole bunch of sub plots/dimensions to the film - Joe Pantoliano [Cypher in The Matrix] as Teddy and Carrie-Anne Moss [Trinity in The Matrix] as Natalie are both amazing to watch on screen. Anyway I won't spoil any of the plot or story so you'll have to watch it for yourselves but believe me it's damn cool - easily the best I've seen in a good few years. Oh yeah and the film runs sdrawkcab... ...watch it asap...you won't regret it!! remember Sammy Jankis |
