I just came across this and frankly, I'm dissapointed. Apparently much of the marijuana related undertones of the movie were removed so that they could keep a PG rating. Go to http://forums.toonzone.net/showthrea...threadid=37105
and check this out. I also read somewhere that Shaggy's girlfriend's name in the movie was 'Mary Jane'. I don't know if they're changed that.

I didnt read your link but i always thought Scooby doo was a stoner cartoon here's why:

Scooby do: He always says Scoobie doobie do, like scooby smokes a doobie

Shaggy: He looks like your typical stereotyped stoner, fuzzy chin beard, always. Always paranoid and always hungry for those scooby snacks and he talks to a dog.
Selma: I got nothing on her, just that shes your typical smart but ugly girl, glasses funky hair
Daphene: Spolied brat, shes useless
The last dude: I dont want to sound homophobic, but he is gay, i mean that scarf and hes dressed up all nice. In portuguese he even has a little girly voice

They drive a van = stoner mobile in every movie/tv show

Thats it. Oh yeah and Scooby is one of the cartoons i hate the most right with Dragon Ball. I never liked to watch it, i like woody wood packer much better

There's actually a list of reasons circulating on the net as to why scooby is a stoner cartoon. I'll see if I can find it. The "Last Dude" that you speak of is named Freddie.
Why do you dislike Skoob and DBZ? I can understand if you don't like the newer scooby stuff... that scrappy doo is REALLY annoying, on par with Jar-Jar.
IMO, DBZ has no bad qualities to it whatsoever. Great animation, cheezy japanimation lines, and interesting complex storylines.

I never like SDD because its always the same thing, they go somewhere. They get chased, scooby messes up and catches the bad guy, selma gives all the info. The bad guys says "Oooohh i could have gotten away if it werent for that dog" and scooby goes "scoobie doobie dooooo" and everybody laughs

BORING!
