ecdubb ecdubb ecdubb...what a warm feeling i get hearing an ecw chant...this thread i dedicated to the memory of ECW extreme championship wrestling...ecw is what saved us from doink and john tenta....ecw made breaking tables the in thang...they imported the likes of tajiri, taka, mysterio,plus...and well, this is just to pay homage to the memory of ecw...so post your memories of ecw...i have a feeling this thread may justbe me talking to myself...but you never now

i can understand how pro wresting may seem stupid...its a bunch a grown men fake fighting...yeah..but theres more...wrestling isn't supposed to be real..its not a competition, but an exhibition...wrestling is supposed to be a real as any movie, tv show, opera, play,and so on...good wrestling is almost poetry...almost...watching a great match with a great backstory is wonderful...and you always get your moneys worth...wrestling is a male soap opera of sorts...you get to know the characters...you get to know the annoucers and the manager and the owners...its jut like any othe television show, but it airs live (somtimes) and if it isn't live it is always taped live .i think wrestling has a bad rap...wrestling is what it says it is...sports entertainment...and sport it is...kurt angle...gold medalist....brock lesnar...ncaa champ...RVD...whole f'n show...hulk hogan...mr nanny...whoops...

WeedZinger, if people like pro wrestling, thats thier choice. meaningless post after post of "Pro wrestlings stupid" just makes you seem of having the IQ of 12.

I think wrestling is stupid too, but thats part of its charm. Its supposed to be over the top and stuff. My brother is more into wrestling than me but I sometimes watch his Japanese deathmatch videos and his ECW tapes.

I usually make him a stupid birthday present with a wrestling theme. I recently got hold of a crappy bootleg toy wrestling ring and i have taken the ropes off it and I made little barbwire ropes, and Im going to make little barbwire tables and stuff

Last year I got him a BIG metal trashcan and i filled it with a bunch of weapons and wrapped it up for him.

Anyway... Cactus jack/Terry Funk in ECW= GOOD

pro "wrestling" has to be the lamest, cheapest form of hick entertainment next to NASCAR. how you can find enjoyment watching a bunch of long haired steroid popping men with names like "undertaker" and "triple-h" and "the rock" dance around on a mat all sweaty throwing cheesy fake punches boggles my mind. but whatever, to each their own, have fun watching it, i'll be having fun doing things that don't involve the idiot box we call TV.
