Now that this guy's getting his own show, what does everyone think?!
I personally don't like the guy. To me, he seems like a very opinionated and controlling guy, who gets off on breaking people, and evoking emotion from them.
He also seems very cruel sometimes....I could never confide in someone like this.

Everytime Oprah has somebody on her show or recommends a book we get a hundred oprah obsessed zealots who don't ever crack a book unless the all powerful Matriarch Oprah has it on her show.

He's been on her show a lot apparently

Personally I think he's really lame; but thats because he's never helped me...he has helped a lot of people though, you have to give him that.

Most of the time, he really does seem like he knows what he's talking about but sometimes I really disagree and it's pretty obvious some of his morals are Christian based......not that there's anything wrong with that...

Oprah has recommended some goods books..............heck anything that will encourage people to read is a plus. As for DR. Phil, pop Psychology B.S. if you ask me. Solving th problems soccer moms may be a noble cause, but it won't win my respect.
