Default 80's sitcoms

How many of you remember those really stupid 80's family sitcoms, like "Full House","Growing Pains","Mr. Belvedere", "Family Matters", and the like?! Aside from "Family Ties," those shows were EXTREMELY weak. The characters were hackneyed and predictable, and the dialogue was just corny.
True, sitcoms today aren't the best, but I'd rather sit through 8 hours of "Will and Grace" or "Friends" than even a half hour of Steve Erkel saying "Did I do that," or Mary Kate/Ashley Oleson saying "Right on, dude."

Anyhow, who here agrees with me?! Looking back on these shows, I remember thinking how GREAT they were, but now I just cringe thinking I used to look forward to "Head Of The Class" and John Stamos' bouffant.

All of those sitcoms were really good back in the 80's.

But look at the hair styles. I was watching Family Matters and I cracked up when I saw the boy with the Jerry Curl.

And who remembers the mullet or the box hairstyles?

No sitcom can every beat all in the family.

Who's the Boss ruled and still does!

I can't think of one good 80's sitcom. Did WKRP in Cincinnati ever overlap into the early 80's? That show was awesome

have we all forgotten step by step, or as I called it brady bunch 2

Dammit I hate spin offs especially when the network that the show makes a spin off of a show that is still around

for example "Family Guy" was a spin off of "The Simpsons" but they were both made by Fox

Sitcoms like that are still around, believe me. What's scary is when you go hang out with a 25 year old and they're watching them. I think the one I'm thinking of is called 'boy meets world'

Yo, ncj when did you get the new avatar?

That one kicks ass.

How was Family Guy a spin off of the Simpsons?
