many members have mentioned this show in this forum but i couldnt find a thread strictly about this show.

this show is extremely funny...but just one question. is the camera positioned in a hidden spot? the people seem somewhat oblivious that they are the victim(s) of a prank, yet the camera catches the whole prank sometimes even right in peoples' faces and they dont notice it. i guess it is a hidden camera show...

i hope they dont pay people in advance to be a part of the pranks. i know in america you cant even show somebody's face on tv without them signing a consent form thatz america for ya...but i doubt british authorities are as uptight as the FCC

I think all shows like that are fake. Tom Green. America's Funniest Home Videos. Survivor.

Real people just don't do stuff like that. They are all actors. Most of the funniest videos are staged ahead of time.

I think Trigger Happy TV is pretty funny. One bad thing about it though is that he always uses the same type of jokes, just in different scenarios. For example, when he dresses up like a robber (hilarious costume ) and tries to get people to let him into someone's house. He also uses the "screaming into enormouse cell phone" joke a little too often. Still a funny show though.

Dom Joly is indeed a funny man. The park keeper, interviewer and the scout are probably my favourites--never been too enthralled by the music accompanied fighting dog scenes though. Trigger Happy TV = Funny.

The cat burglar is definitly one of the best that i have seen. Also i love the whole taste test thing where they blindfold people and either dress up as something else when they open their eyes or just take off heh.

Who cares if its real, if you are watching tv because you think it has to be real you should be spending your time elsewhere because with the exception of about 3 tv channels i can say there is no reality to television. Not even reality tv shows take the cake as real.

Then again this is all coming from someone who has probably watched no more than 6 hours of actual tv in 2002 so take my opinion with a grain of salt.

I dont thing it a fake i think they are genuine reactions from the people, I know they cant show thier faces without permission. What usually happens on shows like that is they usually tell the people it was a joke afterwards then ask their permission to use the footage without a blur on thier faces.
