I was flipping through the channels today and saw the most idiotic, pointless program I have ever seen on TV. It was a special on celebrity pets! Take a guess what station it was on. Yeah, you're right. It was on MUSIC Television (MTV).

Who gives two rat's craps what different celebrities (many who have nothing at all to do with music) have as pets and how much money they spend on them?! I could care less about the celebrities themselves! And on top of that they have people who think they know what they are talking about, talk about how celebrities spend money and blah blah blah.

As an example, let's say they show the owner of some store celebrities like to shop at. He might say something really informative and smart like, "Celebrities like to spend a lot of money." Wow, thanks for the input, we are know stupider for listening to what you have to say.

I would love to know who watches these kinds of shows and keeps MTV still on air (besides people like me bashing it ). Who actually thinks that is quality entertainment?

If only the majority of TV gave us important information, stuff that would make us smarter, stuff we can apply to life. Then, I believe, the people who watch TV would be getting something out of it, rather than frying their brains, watching total garbage.

MTV starting to go in a downward spiral with the first season of the real world. Reality television is slowly destroying american culture, and TV. I hate MTV, they play awful music 30 minutes of the day, then its just bad shows. I am more than happy with my Hendrix, Phish, CSNY, Costello, Floyd, Stones, the velvets, dead and all the others.

MTV2 = GOOD

noticed mtv2 is about 24/7 music.. or Close to it* Always luv switching to mtv2 and watching those videos, or votin for a band.

and that one bald guy, hes cool.

EDIT : (mtv2, only good if you can stand to watch through loads of HOARSE **** music that doesnt deserve to be there, just to watch your own band's video, if it has one)

MTV used to be good, not all the time, but there were some videos that were fun, like some of the pumkins vids and definatly tools sober. now all they seem to play, when they actually do play videos, is rap. they need to change their name at the very least.

There is no one on MTV that is cool, none of them know anything about music. It is a rediculous station that brainwashes teenagers.

Right now the brazillian mtv is having a summer special and its made at the beach so all the vj's are just wearing bikinis and stuff. They even hired a model to be a vj during the summer. pic here Its pretty cool to just sit around and watch her . Other that that show i only watch legends of rock 'cause they have lots of bands like floyd and doors in it

Doritos, in the US they deffinetly do not have a show called Rock Legends on MTV. MTV is terrible here. As i said before, they seriously play about 1 hour of music a day, and its all crap.
