Im watching the simpsons on tv. And before the show started, i saw an commerical about driving under the influence. its a new one, not the one with the crash dummies.

This one's about a guy who stops at a road (also a crash site) and walks up to a tree which doubles as a memorial. This guy puts down a picture. While all this is going on theyre saying "HIs little brother was killed by a driver under the influence." then in a while they that the guy whose little brother was killed "He was the driver." Then they say he was under the influence of guess what?? MArIjUaNa?!?!?!

This pisses me off.. i mean.. FreeVibe's paying a lot of money to make the commericals. I used to see some about crack and some other serious drugs, but now i noticed that they're all about Marijauan which is more harmless than crack and alcohol. Free Vibe should put their focus on cocaine and other serious drugs and stop leaving them open to ppl like us to prove them wrong...

Have you seen the one where there are 2 teens sitting in chairs with a bong. They talk about stupid **** then after a while you says "wanna see my gun"(along the lines of that). He pulls the trigger and he kills the other kid.

I just watched a special on how heroin is overtaking the suburbs, and that it's the purest it's been in a long time, etc., and yet they still insist on running ads on marijuana.

Sometimes it just makes me want to vomit. *blech*

FreeVibe really needs to get their priorities straightened out.

According to NCADD, in 2001 there were 42,116 vehicle fatalities. Alcohol was responsible for 17,448.

41.4% of all driving fatalities in 2001 were due to drunk driving.

Driving under the influence of alcohol is a far greater risk to the public than driving under the influence of marijuana.

We're all preaching to the choir here. We all know that alcohol and cigarettes kill more daily then have been harmed by cannabis in since the history of man began. We've got to have voices heard by those that make these moronic spots. States are legalising medicinal Marijuana, and it's legal in several conutries now (or at least decriminalised). I honestly don't know why they waiste their time and money try to offend those that indulge in a natural herb, when they should be enlightening the growing number of Cocaine and Opiate abusers(who will die or at least have their lives trashed), but we should all Email them and tell them of their folly.

At the end of that commercial they said "25% of people arrested for driving under the influence tested positive for marijuana." All that means is a quarter of the people pulled over have smoked marijuana within the past month. Why does that have any relevance to whatever point they're trying to make?

Yeah i watched the samething on the pulse... it went from herion being 7% pure on the streets back in the day to now being 95% pure. Thats a huge change.

A very good point that I think of every time I see a influence comercial using that "fact". It's ridiculous to state facts without fully explaining them.

I hate freevibe, they put their stupid adds in ign.com (pc.ign.com, xbox.ign.com dvd.ign.com, its a big network of sites)
and they have a banner saying something like THE TRUTH about marijuana... *sigh* you know it pisses me off, that we see this and we can't do anything, I emailed the site, and nicely told them, I'm a daily visitor, and I understand that they need money to pay for the site and that freevibe is full of bs, and I would gladly help them find good-paying sponsors lol... they didn't even write back....

Anyways at my school, we learn english as second language, and we get this magazine called SCOPE, its from the us probably, because there are freevibe bs everywhere, one of them is a white-orangeish page, with a small-white rectangle in the middle, saying something like drugs are bad, and in red it's written, you won't believe how this doesn't make sense, Directions : ROLL A JOINT....
It just doesn't make sense... one add, was on the back cover of the magazine, this one was on 2-3 issues at least... a guy and his smaller brother written on the left side (big brother) I like to skateboard, I like music, I do not smoke weed

and on the right side (small bro) I like to skateboard, I like music, I do not smoke weed...

then under that, the choices you make affect your yougner sibling or something like that, the bigger brother was about 11-12 yr old....

anyways just ranting... I hate freevibe, anyone know some info about them, like where are they situated, how big is the company, who funds them ???

What about the commercial with the idiots who are baked at the drive through? Damn, when I'm baked I just call dominos! Anyway, why don't they show some idiot driving while yapping on his cell phone? I'm sure those guys cause plenty of accidents. F*ck, I hate freevibe!!!
