| If you get Bravo or the Independent Film Channel, check those out. The best movies are on those. Independent Films are so much better than anything Hollywood comes up with. The movies actually have plots and characters and things that are unique and original. Some of the stuff they show is just so far out there it's just confuses the hell out of you. For example, anything by David Lynch. Wild at Heart, Lost Highway, Blue Velvet. I used to work at a movie theater, and when Lost Highway was in, they put the reels together in the wrong order. Nobody noticed, that's how weird the movie is.

| I've caught a couple of older movies on Showtime late at night I thought were pretty bizarre: "Beyond The Valley of The Dolls," a sequel to "Valley Of The Dolls" revolving around a sixties rock band and it's sexualy promiscuous, drug-filled lifestyle. Some of the key characters are a bisexual hermaphrodite, a porn queen, and an mentally insane boxing champ. Throughout the movie, they do drugs, have orgies (homosexual and heterosexual), and a couple of people get decapitated. To top it off, it was written by movie pimp, and seemingly straight, Roger Ebert. "The Trip," written by Jack Nicholson, and starring Peter Fonda and Dennis Hopper. The basic plot is that Peter Fonda has a two-hour cinematic LSD trip. It's a little cheesy, but definitely cool when you're stoned. "Head," also written by Jack Nicholson, and starring, of all people, the Monkees and Annette Funnicello. Okay, this thing makes very little sense, but under the influence of weed, it'll play SERIOUS head games. It starts with the Monkees committing suicide, followed by several dissociated wierd scenes, and ends with the Monkees committing suicide again. Some of the scenes include being wasted in a discotheque, trapped in a box, and the Monkees as dandruff being sucked out of some guy's scalp. Okay, I guess I just like vintage movies when I'm stones. Some more of my favorites are "Rosemary's Baby","The Shining", and "Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice." | |

| I watched this movie a few years ago called Koyaanisqatsi. There isn't a plot to the story. It's just scenes from Western Society put into fast motion (like in the music video for Ray of Light). I've been looking for it for the past month or so because I want to watch it while I'm high. I remember there was one scene filmed inside an egg factory, and you could see the chickens laying eggs, but the film was going so fast, and there was this weird music playing in the background. It was insane! Check out this movie if you can find it. | |

| Tommy was interesting but I didn't really like it all that much just because they had different people sing all the songs. Quadrophenia I've only seen once, but I wanted more tunes in that one, that's my favorite Who album, IMHO, musically better than Tommy. |
