| Im not sure when or what this is on in the states but in Canada curb your enthusiasm is on wednsdays and thursdays at 11 pm on showcase. It is written by Larry David and he is also the main character playing himself. Larry David was the creator of seinfeld and the inspiration for George Costanza. In this show he is a mix between george and woody Allen. It is an absolutely halarious comedy, probably the best on tv right now. I suggest everyone watches it, it is renminisint of seinfeld but done completely differantly and it is quite unique and the jokes are gold |

| Curb Your Enthusiasm and The Office [BBC version] are my two favourite shows of all time.

| There really is something special about it... I never saw the show before, then I got comcast and was flipping through the ondemand. It had a few old episodes and I watched em. At first I was weary of the show, but something about it just completely got me hooked. I laugh at a few parts every show, but not much. It's kinda...internally funny. I laugh to myself inside a million times ![]() Im watching an episode right now actually on HBO comedy ![]()

| That show is hilarious. I've only seen a couple epsiodes until recently when I noticed we got hbo comedy or something like that and theres an episode on every weekday at 11. It's funny watching it and seeing so much of George from Seinfeld in him. Larry David was supposed to give the commencement speech at my graduation...but he didnt. Some basketball coach did instead. ~Tim

| I've completely fallen in love with this show. It's so great how they keep a relative joke going through the whole episode. Usually one of the first jokes and the last joke of the episode is somehow related. Larry David is just fucking hilarious and I love the style of the show, how you feel like it wasn't performed. Some of my favorite quotes: "Larry: [to various passerby] You know anything about changing a tire? Wanna help me change a tire here? No? I could use a little help. I need a little assistance. I never took a shop class, and I need a little help. Ok, I'm just coming flat out and saying 'help me'. Anybody want to help a semi-retarded individual change a tire? 25, 30 dollars. 30 dollars to change this tire. 35 dollars to change this tire right now............ Larry: I'll give you 10 dollars for a verbal response. 10 dollars. Anybody want to make 10 dollars and respond verbally? No? " "Wanda Sykes: Why'd you fire the black man? Larry: I fired the black man... because... he's the guy who set up the whole system here and it doesn't work! And he's here like... every week, I'm givin' him checks, we've got five remotes, I can't turn it on... but I know, you know, *black* man can *never* do anything *wrong*, at least to get fired from a job! Black people *always* do everything right! Wanda Sykes: [Walks over to TV, pushes button, fixes it] You gotta turn the damn satellite on for the TV to work! See the little green light? Just gotta turn it on! Or you can fire the black man. Whatever works for you." "Larry David: [watching Girls Gone Wild] You know what a woman would do if I ever asked her to lift up her top? Jeff Greene: Why do you have to analyze this? Can't we just watch this? Larry David: She would spit on me! If I ever asked a woman to lift up her top, she would kick me in the balls and spit on me! Jeff Greene: We've waited a long time to see this and all you're doing is yakking. Be quiet, come on! " Larry: What's the level of anger here? What am I dealing with? Cheryl: Well, I'd have to say at least an 8.7. Larry: 8.7? That's not that bad. I thought it would be at least a 9. Cheryl: It was a 9. Then you broke that lamp, and the crazy woman screamed at you, and it got you some pity points. Larry: Pity points. That's fabulous, I love pity points. But how can I get to a 7? I know a 6 is out of the question, but is there any way I can get to a 7? Oh man, that's only from some I've seen, there's still a bunch I haven't, but man this show is pure genius |

| **Larry switches lines in a store, but the guy behind him from the first line gets served first because his line went faster. Cashier: Sorry, I think that's our last one. Larry: But I was in line ahead of him! Man in line: Yeah well you shouldn't have changed lines. Cashier: Can I get you something else? Larry: No I don't want anything else! You have a line problem in this store! The lines move completely disproportionately! And you know there's a way to fix that too. Like how they do in Disney Land, you know, where the line snakes around? You go into a deli, you take a number. So it's fair, that's all. The two cashiers never add things up at the same rate; but there's a way to solve it: ONE LINE! It's not a crazy idea. They wouldn't have stoned me back 1000 years ago for bringing up the one line idea. With one line everybody feels good, they don't feel they're being cheated. You have a rope, you rope it off, and people move along... fair and square. You don't have someone going "oh I can't move" you know, "look at them, look at me" ... that's all. One line. Alright... you know. ***Walks out of the store with all the customers and staff staring at him. _____________________________ Bellboy: This is your key, access to your room. Larry: mmmmhmmm Bellboy: This is a card. This is a card slot. Larry: hmmmm Bellboy: Simply insert the card into the slot. There's a beeping; wait a second. Firmly apply pressure and in you go. Larry: That's fascinating! Bellboy: Some of the amenities, quickly, you have a telephone, dial 9 to get out. There's a television here. Larry: K, got that. Bellboy: and you have a remote control for power on/off. Larry: on and off? Bellboy: channel up and down, volume up and down. Larry: up and down, got it. Bellboy: There's a minibar underneath. Larry: got it. yup. Bellboy: A thermostat for air temperature control Larry: Yeah! I've seen those! Bellboy: There's a bathroom, with a shower. Larry: You turn on the water? You turn your wrist and the water comes out? Bellboy: Yes! Larry: Ok. Bellboy: The cold is on the right! Larry: Ummm... that's a window? Bellboy: Yes! Larry: You walk over to it... and you can look out? Is that what it's for? Bellboy: Yes. Larry: Basically that's what it's for, right? Bellboy: Yes. Larry: Alright excellent I think I got everything. The floor is for standing. I think I got it. It's kind of complicated but I'll go over it again. |
