This may be a lil offtopic but i had to post this

Does anyone remember the simpsons from a few years ago where they move out to the farm and homer plants his crops and covers the feiled with nuclear waste? and the end product is the super addictive tomatoe plants known as "Tomacco"

Well, it has finally been done. A scientist has crossed a tomatoe plant wiht a tobbaco plant!!!As or right now there is only tobbaco found in the leaves but they are trying to get it into the tomatoes too. The newspaper said that the scientists "pot smoking" frineds wanted him to make Tomarijuana (tomatoe/weed). Has anyoen else heard of this? What the hell do they plan on doing with tommaco lol.

I dunno what they would do with it, but that was a hilarious episode. My favorite part was when the animals got addicted to the tomacco and went crazy, tearing stuff apart looking for it. I'd be more interested in the Tomarijuana. That'd be cool to have marijuana in your ketchup or stew. I bet there'd be a real market for something like that. Tomacco, though... That'd just be nasty...

I forget who it was... maybe Chief Wiggam: (takes a bite of Tomacco) "That's disgusting! Yet refreshingly addictive!"

Oh man, that episode was priceless!!! I loved it when the animals went mad and the cow was like "Tomaaaaacccccooo!!!"
I havn't heard of it, but I really don't see the purpose to it. I mean, you don't want tobaccy to taste like tomatoes, and I don't think you want tomatoes to taste like tobacco. If they wanted to produce an addictive tomato ( which seems like the only reason for doing this ) then there is definately a substance that would be way better to drug up the tomatoes with. Plus, I'm not 100% positive about this, but I thought nicotine was added to tobacco. So really there is nothing about tobacco itself that is addictive. It would make more sense to pump the tomatoes full of nicotine. But I think the whole thing is ludicrous, they'll never be able to sell it. Unless our government is horribly corrupt. Which they are, so yeah maybe they are onto something!

Not true, juice. Much like THC is not added to pot, nicotine is not added to tobacco. It is the active alkaloid that is inherent in the plant itself, and the root cause of tobacco's addiction. There are plenty of chemicals added to tobacco for one reason or another, but nicotine is not one of them.

Someone could create Marijuana Hops. Hops and Pot are closely related botaniccally so according to that, same idea. Real pot beer.
