Question Gigli

Have any of you seen Gigli? I kinda want to see it because of all the negative hype. I don't think it could be THAT bad... some of the media hype had to just be because of pressure maybe (then again, I'm probably wrong). I want to rent it pretty bad

(I did a search and got NO results, which was unexpected).

Dude, that movie cost about 6 million dollars to make. I think it made around 12,000.

I think the whole deal with the movie is there's a huge twist, like Jennifer Lopez dies 20 minutes into the movie or something and she's barely in it. I saw some producer or someone of the movie talking about it, and he said that by the third week Gigli was out they were thinking about putting that on the poster to try to draw people

I too thought maybe it's worth a rent just to see if it's really that awful, but i haven't done it yet, not sure if it's worth my 5 bucks.

I have also never seen it, but I probably won't now since J-lo dies so early. If you want to see a good movie with Lopez in it, watch U-turn. That movie is the only reason I like J-Lo. There is this one scene where this guy is holding her arms while she leans off the edge of this cliff. She says this one line that gives me chills: "I bet you don't know whether you want to kill me or f*ck me." I still think she's hot...

Ok, here's the deal with Gigli.....Lopez is in the whole movie, its an alright movie to rent...not as horrible as I thought it would be due to all the hype, but not a classic by any means either. In the movie Jersey Girl, also starring Affleck and J-lo, Lopez dies pretty quickly into the movie, but I've got to watch it anyway, due to it being a Kevin Smoth movie, the genius behind Clerk, Mallrats, Chasing Amy, Dogma, and Jayu and Silent Bob strike back. Not trying to sound pretentious, but at least know what movie you're talking about before you start dissing it....misinformation hurts everyone!

speaking of terrible movies, have any of you seen Cabin Fever. I missed seeing it in theatres and just watched it last night. I saw on all of its previews that it got good reviews and all. I must say i was extremely disappointed. It was one of the worst films i've ever seen. Just goes to show you can always trust the critics.
