Today my mom made me watch this movie that explains how marijuana is bad and its the gateway drug kinda **** lol. That i have to say is the worst move EVER i mean wow. You could tell the people were acting and they did a stereotypical stoner too. Droopy eyes says "man" alot looks like a hippy it was bad. Now i gotta find a movie that goes against that....anyone have any reccomendations? Cheech and Chong mabey?

lol, well it depends. IF you are just watching it go ahead for cheech, but if your talking about with your parents to i dunno. Thats not the most positive image of stoners. But heck i cant think of any in movies... hmm..?

I'd say you should go rent Grass. I haven't seen it but I've heard many recommend it for situations similar to your's. Sorry I couldn't be more help

I don't really have any recommendations, but I would strongly recommend that you don't show them Cheech and Chong, nor Half Baked. I don't know if your mom wants you to end up like any of those guys. Not saying that you would or even that I think that it would be a horrible thing, just that if your mom doesn't want you smoking marijuana, you probably wouldn't want to show them a bunch of burnouts which she probably fears could be you in a few years.

I agree with FoeTwinny, go with Grass. I haven't seen it but I hear it's a good documentary that talks about the bull**** propagandha that your mom is probably preaching to you right now.

Step a side, truthfulness is miles away, and its a bit bloodier than most of you think, I've seen much more than my age, and after my recent tours throughout Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia, Pacific Islands, South America, Central America, the Carribean, and Northern Canada.... what you see is horrible for you is only luxury to many.

I've seen parts of Grass , and from what I saw it was good. But your mom might be skeptical of anything they say in the movie because it definitely portrays marijuana in a good light. Just think, she's been force fed her entire life to believe that marijuana is a horrible drug, so she automatically thinks any pro-pot statistics are wrong. Back it up with statistics from different credible places on the web, and maybe, just maybe, she will start to be reformed.

And whatever you do, DON'T show her ANYTHING like Cheech and Chong, even though they are funny movies, they definitely portray the "typical burnout".
