Justing watching the movie grass on tv right now and im left with the question...what happend to the war on weed? It seems since the 50s people have been openly fighting it but not at all any more. At least from what im seeing. Is it different in the states than up here? Do you seen propaganda vid's and stuff? Just wondering....

I still see propaganda ad's on TV everyday, last one I recall is the "daddy look at me" commercial, which is total bs, but who believes the **** anymore. So yea, I still see the war on drugs happening and failing.

The attacks on marijuana culture remain. Watch any US television station long enough, and you are sure to see the ludicris anti-marijuana commercials that are out there. The propaganists have simply changed the formats of their attack. rather than create entire films devoted to the subject, they take advantage of another US addiction-television- to continue their attacks. Also, they use the internet as well to further their lies about cannabis and its effects on people. If you doubt it, check sites like freevibe and see the so called "facts" they spread about marijuana. Most are outright lies, and the others are grossly exaggereated.

These are the numbers they give in the movie Grass, those numbers just sound way too high but if their correct we could have saved the world by now if it weren't for the war on marijuana/drugs....l..

I don't watch much television, especially not the basic tv channels..those are so full of **** and misinformation. Much more anti-grass ads on basic free tv stations than cable stations.

And the drug war is still going strong, the public eye is just temporarily on the new war on terrorism. I love it, declaring war on nouns and plants. lol.

It's good to watch high and sober. I loved it especially seeing the "vietnam shotgun" and some hippies using a toilet paper roll (done that) and then the hilarious propaganda. I love this documentary!!!!
