| I did a search and was surprised to find that nobody has made a thread on this movie Around the Fire is, in my opinion, one of the better drug-cultured movies of the day. The movie focus is a parallel between re-hab life and touring-concert life. Anybody else seen this movie?

| its defientely a good movie, but of course a lil funny in the way they show and interpret touring and that whole culture (at least if you are used to it in real life) but it is the only movie iv seen dealing with this culture in any respect. i especially like the chemist- the things he is saying about maple leaf rag/brown eyed women is very true and important. in a Buddhism class once (in college) i wrote my final paper on Zen Buddhism (a Rinzai text to be exact) and the song Terrapin Station by the Grateful dead, the main idea is what he explains about the mythology/archetypes and stuff, and i got an A on it. besides that its definetely a good and very unknown movie, i think its so funny and random that devan sawa and tara reid are in it.
