What do you think? The trailer looks like it's gonna be pretty scary, and it's supposed to be based on a true story with actual recordings of the real exorcism of the girl, Emily Rose.

I'm debating whether I should see it or not, because it looks really interesting but I'm such a sissy when it comes to horror movies. When I watched The Ring in theaters I missed half the movie because I was huddled with my friend and we were both hugging each other and staring at the floor regretting that we went and saw the movie in the first place.

So should I risk not sleeping for a week because I'm haunted by the movie or should I go ahead and cry on the shoulder of my boyfriend in the movie theater?

Definately go! It's allways good to do things that make you scared, it helps make you stronger!

I saw this trailer during the Skeleton Key, and it looks awesome! Scary movies are so cool. Nothing like being terrified of driving home after seeing the last showing for the night of a horrifying movie.

it didn't look too scary to me. except when the faces of the people like morph all freaky style, that always creeps me out. seems to be alot of horror flicks coming out this time of year. last year it was all about the ring, boogeyman, the grudge etc. i dunno, i think horror movies are getting less and less scary as the years go by. friday the 13th still chills my ass to the bone and it's like 20 years old!

Well i saw it... the day it came out me and my boy smoked a blunt then went to watch it high as hell...and let me tell you this movie was amazing! It was soo scary, and deep too! It had to be one of the DEEPEST movies i've ever seen in my entire life and i think everyone needs to see this movie, high or not... whether you believe in this **** or not... it is INSANE!

I totally agree with you! I saw this movie last night and it was insane! Its not scary but its scary cause its based on a true story, which totally freaked me out . So did The Texas Chainsaw Massacre cause it was based on a true story too . Anyways that movie was crazy and what happened to that poor girl. Go see it people!

Well I finally saw it yesterday with my boyfriend. It wasn't as scary as I thought, and I'm a freaking wussy. It seems more about telling her story than to be a horror film. Of course...lots of the time I looked away because I can't stand freaky images...especially that one part where her body is all twisted up when that guy was in her room and she's just staring and her mouth is open. Man that image haunted me last night...

Anyway, it was a pretty good movie. The part of actual excorcism where they play the audio recording of the real excorcism that happened to her was pretty insane. Definitely a few jumpy parts, and it's more about the trial. Overall I'd say if you're wondering if you should see it or not, go for it.

Went and saw it last night, and i gotta say being a pretty big horror movie fan that i was not impressed. infact i thought it was bad. Just my opinion though, and for whatever reason being high throughout it didnt make it that much more enjoyable. Luckily i didnt have to pay to get in, but i would of been mad wasting 12bucks to see it. If you want to see it, save your money and rent it when it comes out on DVD.

i was going to say as a pretty big horror movie fan as well i didnt even think to go to this becasue i knew it would probubly be pretty bad that seems to have been confermed by hte above. also of note the based on a true story in texas chainsaw massacre is sp skewed little of hte movie has anything to do wiht real events just the skin mask and bone furniture kind of stuff. just like buffalo bill in silence of hte lambs is based off the same dude Ed Gein who acctually didnt realyl kill many people
