You guys ever watch those cheap movies that are on in the daytime on the Lifetime network? For some reason after the first 10 minutes they just suck you in and all the sudden youve wasted two hours. Also seems like they all have some common characteristics

1. The plot always involves a single mother
2. Theres usually an evil bad man involved
3. All attourneys and doctors are women
4. They all use their "girl power" to stop the evil man
5. Theres always one man in the movie thats not evil, but a charming handsome dude that the main character has sex with the night that she meets him.

Ive noticed too that theres an extreme amount of laxative commercials on this channel....I havent really figured that one out yet

any other guys out there get hypnotized by these movies?? Theyre all so anti-male that I dont know why I continue to watch them....some kind of mind control....by the end of the movie I feel guilty for being a man. wtf?

My favorite are the ones about the anorexic/bulimic cheerleaders/gymnasts/ballerinas/whatever. It's the same plot every time, she's healthy, then she joins the cheerleading squad, her boyfriend/parents/whomever tells her she looks like she's gained weight, and suddenly, her hair is falling out and she's 76 pounds. Every time.

Yet, still, somehow I watch the movies anyway.

I think that episode of the Family Guy sums it up with the commercial that goes "Lifetime: Television for Idiots." Poor production values, and they patronize their customers...but their customers don't care. It's like BET for women. Andy is right, all their freakin movies are the same. Of course, how would I know that unless I actually watched the channel? But er, I don't, so whatever.
