So, I've watched the TV show so much, I can't even stand to see an episode anymore.

But last night I happened to catch the original movie on AMC.

I had forgotten alot of it. Especially the talent that was ensembled for this movie.
Donald Sutherland, Elliot Gould, Tom Skeritt (sp?) and Robert Duvall, to name a few!

Radar was the only movie cast member to be a full time cast member in the series.

Was originally released in the UK as an X-rated movie and after 4 minutes were cut out got an R.

Did everybody know the theme song (instrumental in the tv show) has lyrics right?
I remembered the chorus and one verse...The rest I either forgot or never knew.

Called Suicide is Painless:

Dark song for a tv show. Probably why it was an instrumental for the series.
