I was watching showtime today when Reversal of Fortune came on. I wasnt really interested at first until i learned what it was about. The show starts off with this homeless guy. Like every homeless guy he lives under a bridge and makes money by going through dumpsters collecting cans and recycling them. He made about 15 bucks a day doing that. One day while going through the dumpster he finds a briefcase full of money...100,000 grand to be exact. With it was a note that said what would a homeless guy do if ever given 100,000 grand (planted there by the show producers). Needless to say he was very happy. The first thing he bought was a 800 dollar bike haha. Throughout the show he buys his friend a 10,000 car which i thought was very nice of him. He buys himself a 35,000 dollar Dodge ram and his girlfriend of one day who was also homeless a truck. Well Ive given away most of the show, but most of you can figure out that this guy ends up blowing the money on booze and women. At the end of the show it says he wouldnt tell the producers how much he had left, but his sister said he only had a few grand left. I thought it was a really cool show that also made a very good point that bums dont know how to spend money haha. Its coming on showtime again tuesday if any of you want to catch it.
