| Has anyone heard about this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lAKd3...0john%20lennon Personally, I'm dying to see it. Lennon's one of my heroes, not just music-wise, but also opinion/activism-wise. Anyone else really looking forward to checking this flick out?

| Wow, I didn't even know they were making another flick about him. I'm there. Lennon is also one of my personal heroes. He stood for everything that I have come to believe in this world. |

| Yeah, I just saw a preview for it the other day before the showing of "Strangers with candy" We have a couple theatres around here that play non-mainstream movies all the time, a ton of independent films and low budget productions. Lots of politically based ones too. |

The lyrics were thought to be inspired solely by Lennon's hopes for a more peaceful world. In reality, the song's refrain was coined by Yoko Ono, in reaction to her childhood in Japan during World War II. According to The Sunday Times, the song's refrain can be found in several of her poems written in the early 1960s, before she met Lennon, and in her 1965 book Grapefruit. Lennon's claims against property and religion, as well as his repeated use of "the people," have led some to posit the song as being advocative of humanism, communism, and anarchism. -Mr. Rogers | |

| My connection is way to slow to watch a video but if there makin a new lennon movie im gone be first in line to see it! I watched a History Channel documentry on lennon when he was in the us looking for yoko's long lost daughter, and it said that the government had over 22thousand pages and files on him! They recorded every phone call to and from him and even documented every time he went to the bathroom and for how long!!! it scared the shit outa me, i mean this was the 60's (early 70's) and its 2006! they could have cameras in our Tv's and recorders in our shoes! we already know about the clicker devices installed in every computer out there, what else is out there that we dont know about yet? |

| lol im always paranoid, but the clicker does exist, at least its supposed to, the govt would never admit to it but many many people belive that a portion of your Pc's harddrive is devoted to recording every click and every letter typed, i dont kno if its real but i woulnt be suprised as for them recording when he did his dirty work, i searched the aclu records but coulnt find anything before 1994, the only thing i found on lennon is a refrence to him in another secret govt monitoring scandel. but i do have the show on tape (i recorded it for a freind who has yet to pick it up) and il scan through it tommorow, i think im finally getting tired.......omg its actually 4:20 AM! i guess that calls for another bowl or two........and it keeps gettin better BLOTTER just came on!!!! |

You contridict yourself big time. First you insist it exists, then you say its "supposed to", and then say you don't know whether its real or not, but that it "wouldn't suprise you". As far as convincing arguments go, this has got to be towards to bottom of the list. You have provided nothing to back up your argument (on this topic OR John Lennon's bathroom breaks, etc) and admit openly that you have no clue after a bit, after saying we "all know about the clicker devices installed in every computer" If you are going to post something so outlandish, be prepared to back it up. Besides, even f every keystroke was recorded, or every mouse click, or even every website visited WAS recorded, what good would it do anyone? You said nothing about the info being sent anywhere, and I, for one, don't plan on giving my HD to the govt when i'm done with it. In fact, in the event of HD failure, I'll most likely do what millions of people do....destroy the faulty HD after wiping it clean. All in all, it just sounds like paranoid rambling to me.
