| I haven't liked any of the 9/11 movies that have come out. The fact that they had ANY scenes at all from a plane baffles me. Well, not really. Besides the phone calls, how do they know what really went on inside those planes? All of it was just a guess. Sure, those passengers were heroes in their own right, but nobody knows what happened besides them. To guess for the sake of entertainment is despicable. Spielberg is a good example of how to make a movie from such a tragic event. He waited over 50 years and had a wealth of information to base his storyline off of. I don't want to take anything away from Oliver Stone because he's had some good movies, but a movie like this coming out of the head of an American can only be biased. You could say the same about Spielberg, but he never actually took place in any way, shape or form of the Holocaust. Oliver Stone felt the same things that we all felt that day. This movie will be a recollection of events as he remembers...which, coincidentally, is exactly how we'll remember them. The movie is only going to serve as a reminder to all of us and stir up old feelings. Usually, I don't see movies at the theater anymore, I'll wait for the DVD or HBO, but this might be one of the few movies that I won't ever watch. |

| Those phone calls never happened. Cell phones DO NOT work at over something like 8,000 feet (.06% chance of a connection) and at 32,000 feet it is literally impossible to have a conversation (something like .000000006% chance of a connection). In 2004 "cell stations" were released that made it possible to use a cell phone on a plane. If cell phones worked so well in 2001 then why would somebody spend millions of dollars on an obsolete technology? |

| no way, i will not see this movie. for the reasons everyone else has said and more. like, i stared at the screen forever and when thought i would be able to express how i feel about this i clicked the reply button but i was wrong, i cant even describe it... my father was there at ground zero afterwards with the red cross helping victims and their families for over a month (psychologist) my uncle is a firefighter in long island and was involved in a lot of the post stuff too one of my very very good friends (like my second mom) her brother-in-law was in the wtc and died i know two other people that worked in the trade centers that just happened not to go to work that day. i was affected by 911, and probably one of the least affected people honestly, this is a movie just to torture people. does anyone actually think that someone who lived through these horrors wants to see it on screen? some romantic fantasy love story or some heroic epic tale? a;oidshja;lgja;ldkfsj;ajlfd i dunno, maybe some people, but not me, not for many years is this just to renew the patriotic feelings that swelled up so much after the attacks but now is even more in the gutter than before, because of bush and the war and everything else? no, im sorry, this wont fix anything (ps dont hate me) |

| I think it's very disrespectful, profiting from someone's hurt and pain like that. Maybe if all the money went to a 9/11 charity it wouldn't be so bad, but I still think it's way too early, and I definitely don't plan on seeing it ever,

| never plan on seeing this movie for 2 reasons. It looks so bad and Nicolas Cage is in it. Also, two very good friends of mine already saw the movie last monday and they said it was full of american propaganda and full of religious overtones. neither of which i like. |

| Fuck this movie. Oliver Stone can eat my hemorrhoids. Way too many reasons to even mention, really. First of all, did they happen to mention how the republicans benefited from the tragedy? Any mention of that in the movie? Or for that do we have to watch a fat guy who's so leftwing he fell off the Earth. What was it that Immortal Technique said... Quote:
----------------------------- Secondly, how the fuck do they know what the real story is anyways? In my opinion, we should let events become history before we put them on the big screen. Next weeks blockbuster: Hezbollah vs. Israel: An American sponsored war. ----------------------------- Thirdly... profiting off other people's misfortunes. Especially when the pain is still stabbing those affected. Fuck yeah to whoever said all profits should go to a 9/11 charity (and I don't consider the Army a charity). What to the government and Oliver Stone have in common? They both profit off of the deaths of 5000 people. YAAY. Kind of reminds me of a book I once read. Fifth Business I think it's called. One of the characters made millions during the depression . Off of other people's suffering. --------------------------- What's this I hear about religious undertones. Fucking sickens me. That's just yet another cock in the ass of those deceased and their families. If you're going to make it a movie about their deaths, you can at least make it non-religious, perhaps So that everyone can relate. The christian population of New York City is under 15%. Relatively, only 15% of the people killed and affected (in New York) are Christian. What the fuck kind of respect is that. BAH. Sickens me. Fuck Nick Cage for accepting this role. Have morals all been lost. And fuck all the big time critics for not mentioning anything of the sheer disrespect of creating this movie. FUCKING TURDS AND ASSWIPES. HIPPIES ![]()

| I think it's extremely disrespectful. Unfortunately it's guaranteed to pull in some #s at the box office. I just can't believe people still want this crap. Honestly, how many times did the news channels replay the footage? For months you couldn't turn on the TV without reliving that morning. Whenever I see those bumper stickers "Never Forget" I always wonder, "Who the hell can forget that?". And if they make a freakin sequel I'm going berserker. |
